    Hello Dan.
Yes, Thyregod is/was made in Denmark.
I remember them and the Samson manure/slurry spreader, Dronningborg combines and Taarup choppers and small balers from my kid days.
That was back when each country had its own brands and manufactures in just about everything.

Enjoyed the tour round the harvester never worked with sugar beet up here in Scotland but there are many similarities to a turnip harvester 🤔

Do the cattle, or cows, do they get cavities from the high sugar content from the beets??thinking, you might not have them long enough, they get slaughtered sooner than cavities develop???

The dairy cows eat them, so they're here a long time. No problems though due to the amount of saliva cows produce.

Wonder why farmers in the US don't grow beets for their dairy cows?

‘SUGAR BEETS’ were invaluable during WWII as a source of sugar for human consumption. Access to the Caribbean source was difficult due to German submarine blockades.

They're still an important source of sugar in the UK today.

Hey Dan. What county are you in ? As best as I can find out THYREGOD is Danish and is named for the central Danish town where the company manufactures agricultural machines. Pronounce the name roughly as follows: TEARER GAWDER

Will you chop the fodderbeet Dan, or feed it whole? Very valuable crop this year with the dry summer, Always enjoy the videos, thankyou.

They get chopped by the mixer wagon during feeding.
