A Live Chat Q&A with Sawyer & Jennifer Pharr Davis will start 30 mins before the Premiere @ 11:30am (PT). See You Then!
I'm so excited that this story is going out into the world. Thank you Sawyer for all the amazing work you are doing to change the world. Thank you Darwin for helping tell the story!
THANK YOU so much for letting me tell your story and helping to show the community what companies like Sawyer can do to bring actual change to the world. ❤️
If Sawyer doesn't have a "buy one give one" program, they should. So many people need clean water around the world. Thanks for pulling this together to share with the world.
I'm not sure, but they do donate 90% of their profits to clean water projects around the world 😉
I can confirm that they provide tens of thousands of filters to different NGOs at Sawyers cost. Sawyer is VERY generous with filters. I have worked for 2 different NGOs that have received 100,000 each from Sawyer.
Excellent film! Thank you!
Thank You!
I was lucky to see Na Wai at PCT Trail Days. Its great to be able to be able share this story showing the importance of clean drinking water to so many communities around the world. Something many of us take for granted.
Couldn't agree more!
Thanks to all involved for helping the wonderful people of Fiji. This is an example of kindness going to some of the kindest people in the world. That’s good work! Vinaka!
Your filming and editing is great… it definitely shows your abilities to make a film…. EXCELLENT!!!
What an awesome way to share the great work that Sawyer does in the world! Really fantastic documentary!
Amazing to see companies like Sawyer giving back. So glad I got to come along for the ride!
Glad I’m finally getting to hear this with headphones…masterpiece!
No one goes to the hard places. But hikers do. Thanks for getting the word out guys! And the content and editing is on fire.
Thank You! ❤️
Thank you Sawyer . Thank you Nick. What an inspiring story !!!!
Such a nice video & the story of the family teaching their children as well as learning from them. Just beautiful.
Incredible work!
This is the third video I've seen this year of Sawyer doing these clean water projects in places around the world that don't have access to clean water. It is truly amazing and inspiring the work they do, how much it changes the lives of everyone in those communities. The first video I watched, I had questions similar to some that are in the comments below, but over the course of watching all these videos, it really is made clear how vital this is. Additionally, the education that is provided to the recipients includes the proper way to clean the filters, so some of the communities have been using the same filter for over 10 years now! It really shows that with proper care, they can last for a long time, unlike what you often see from hiking videos. Nic, I'm so glad you shared this documentary. I've known for some time about your filmmaking company, but to finally see a full-fledged production was fantastic. This film actually brought me to tears. Thank you. :) Paula
Sawyer thanks for helping all the people and changing their lives with your filters and providing clean water! What you are doing with your profits and your company is amazing. Nic "Darwin" great job on the documentary! Jennifer Pharr Davis thanks for sharing your experience with your family to help us understand the challenge of clean water and what we take for granted in the US. I just made a donation to Sawyer because they have shown they are making a difference and they have been very generous using their own profits to help others. The Sawyer squeeze is a great filter and it is the only filter I trust especially with sketchy water sources if you don't do anything else you should buy a Squeeze knowing you have a quality product and you are supporting a company that uses its profits to help others. 👍
Thanks Darwin for posting this. Sawyer is Awsome !😉😍😍😍
I have watched a lot of you tube videos . Probably this was one of my favourite videos . Awesome work ❤
Darwin, thanks for working with Sawyer and Darrel on this project. I have had the privilege of working with Darrel for years now in multiple countries around the world.
Summed up in a word: Inspiring.
Very cool family. I love that Sawyer is doing this work. Thank you for producing this.
Thank you for sharing the documentary. It is an important topic and I loved the positivity and great music 🙃
Absolutely! Just think if more companies stepped up to make a real difference like Sawyer!
Great Short Documentary, and thank you to Sawyer for doing this. Clean water is important.
Thanks so much for this. It's such a wonderful cause and the documentary is excellently executed. 👍🏼💪
Thanks for making this film. It is great to shed light on the real Fiji. We had the privilege of staying with local families in the interior when we visited. It is a different work than the fantasy of the resorts.
Thank you for sharing this story Darwin. Awesome so see good things happening in our world.
Love it! Thanks for sharing!
Captivating documentary!💦
Glad You Enjoyed It! Thanks!
This is so freakin good. Thank you for sharing this story!
Thank You! I'm glad you enjoyed the film!
Fantastic video and an even better project. Makes me think of the work the Carters did in Africa to provide and teach about clean water. So many lives can be saved for a few pennies. Thank you Darwin.
This is wonderful
Great production Nic!! I'm from North Carolina and have been following Jennifer for a while and "Darwin" as well for years. Loved the content and what you all are doing to help others!!
Pats Darwin on the head “good boy”! Excellent work! Hope you go from Darwin the gear guy to Darwin the film maker. Keep that creative spark alive!
Thanks
EXCELLENT!!!
I love this for so many reasons! Not just for Sawyer saving lives in Fiji, but for the opportunity the Pharr-Davis children have to see how children in another country live. Who maybe say they feel special because they have clean water to drink, not because mommy and daddy buy them things 😉
I really enjoyed this! With all the trash content in the world. I appreciate videos like this. Great story and Darwin you did a great job of shooting this!
Great work! So inspiring!
Thank you! Cheers!
great story and video
wow, beautiful movie! amazing story, amazing people🥰 i just cannot understand why the local government doesn't supply clean water to its ciitizens/taxpayers and that foreign companies and NGOs have to come to do that. It's the responsiblilty of every government to provide infrastucture, health services and education etc. and if they don't even organize clean drinking water, then I'm afriad there is something horribly wrong with this government. Fiji isn't that big, less than a million inhabitants, shouldn't be too difficult to build adequate infrastructure. I've been there once, more than 30 years ago, and it appeared quite modern and not too poor even then. Anyway, great movie, thank you very much.🥰
There are Indigenous populations in the US and Canada that don't have access to reliable, clean drinking water. The problem is not only in "poorer" island countries like Fiji.
There are Sawyer filters being used by Canadian First Nations while they wait for the government to fix their water treatment plants.
Sawyer is awesome 😊 there are not many companies anywhere on the planet who do as much as they do.
Such a cool project, I'm sure those communities have benefitted a ton from the clean water. In those areas, how long do those filters work before they are clogged up? And once a filter stops working, what happens next for those communities, does Sawyer send them new filters or do they have to figure out how to get new ones themselves?
if sufficiently maintained, these systems are lasting 10+ years. If they have any issues, they can work with the local organization to source parts or assistance.
STELLAR!
👍🐿👍
Living in the corporate world has opened my eyes. I wonder what the truth is. If I lived in these communities what would I see? How much of this is PR? By experience, I'd say 90+%. Maybe the body has acclimated to the rain water? Corporates can make anything what they want. Data, comms, whatever. Figures don't lie, but liars do figure.
if you upload more stuff like this I wouldn't complain
