Eddy current ring launcher, first test

A quick and dirty first prototype for launching an aluminium ring with a coil. In the first try the capacitor is charged up to about 150V, the second time to 370V. Yes, that's the ceiling that is being hit :). For more information, and other projects, see elexperiment.nl...
