These look great, and I'd be really interested to see how you paint horses with contrast paints. I'm always a bit intimidated when painting horses, and I'm never quite satisfied with it.
Wyldwood, Cygor Brown (slightly thinned with the medium), Gore Grunta Fur, Snakebite Leather and Black Templar If you pre shade or give them a slight drybrush after, they all work. Some of the flesh tones might work too, haven't tried those yet.
They looks awesonr. Normans always look cool
Well
Done!
Very good video, with some awesome painting insight.
Thanks! Someone else already asked me to make a tutorial about the method, I'll get on that with the next project. =)
Looks amazing!!! My brother just picked up the Norman army for lion rampant skirmish game.
Fantastic figures
I'm just about to start a 4 point GB Norman force so this was very helpful.

Will do a tutorial on this soon. I just gotta find some time to get it done =)
Another great video, love the Dark Age stuff. Personally, I enjoy longer videos, great to listen to while I paint :-)
Thanks =) I'll try to mix it up. Some shorter, some longer ones :D
Great video! I'd be interested in a tutorial on your speed painting method
Thanks! =) And good call! I'll make one when I start the next project.
I’m about to paint horses for crusaders. What contrast paints did you use? Look great!

how do these compare to oathmark humans in size do you know?
similar in height but the proportions are a little different. These have bigger hands and heads
Thanks ive been looking for other alternatives to Oathmark humans.
I definitely reccommend looking at Fireforge Games. Both their historical range and the new fantasy range of "Northmen" would work great for Oathmark.
