The interviewer was almost rude, asking about the quality of her jumps, like "Lots of people thought your jumps were pretty weak. How do you feel about that?" I would have said "I feel like an Olympic gold medalist. Next question..." Anna is very polite. 😅
You just have to love this girl, she always gets awful reporters questions. Not only is she a world class figure skater but she is a really classy and exceptionally intelligent person who keeps calm and answers so well when dealt with rude questions. 💯🥰
I've come to the conclusion that reporters ask figure skaters dumb questions. Anna still seems to give smart and logical answers to these stupid questions. Lol
I've seen reporters who were far worse than this. This reporter wasn't too bad. *And I give the reporter a lot of credit for asking the question about how Anna's eyes always seem to change so well with the music.* I've always appreciated Anna's passion and expression. So I'm glad someone finally asked her about it.
At least the interviewer reworked the question to make sure "newer skates" don't hurt skating like new leather dress shoes. But Anna handled the question well. Skaters have very well conditioned feet. I use to skate with no socks in leather hockey skates 55 years ago
