May be a stupid question but you don't have to have college experience to start this right? I have my high school diploma but its asking about transcripts from previous colleges and that made me nervous. I just wanna make sure its not required to be a transfer student
Hey! I know this is quite late but yes! they will make you take one of the courses at Academy but that is not covered by financial aid, they're $99 if you go ahead and apply and they tell you to take it. The classes are about 2-ish months but you can certainly finish it sooner, I finished the english comp in about two weeks!
Awesome!! And I’m a bit behind but that’s okay, I’m on my 9th class! I plan to finish by summer. I need 9 more! Best of luck to you! How’ve you liked it so far?
@@desireenoble I agree with you, I love WGU, I had a couple of weeks where I needed breaks due to family emergencies, so not having to worry about deadlines was awesome. I went to a traditional college to get my associate's and it took forever, plus I had all the stress of midterms and finals. Now at WGU I have a good pace and will be doing DT in August, I know it would have taken longer at a traditional college. I also have a great mentor! Have you taken the state's basic skills exams? A video of how you study for those would be greatly appreciated!
Hi! Thank you for this video! I will be starting September 1st 2023 and looking to see if it would be faster if I did the non licensure route too, which state do you reside in?
The minimum per semester is 4 but you can take as many as you can in the 6 month span as long as you pass the competencies. I managed to finish 11 the first six months. So I accelerated 7 classes.
@@desireenoblewoww congratz dear! You’re probably all finished, but when did you take the time to study ? What was your daily schedule like? How dis u manage to do schooling and work and the girls
