Good video, I'll certainly rewatch when I want to create a bespoke tactic. Suggestion would be break it up into 2, the first being explanation of the roles and combinations and then a second on some cohesive formations, did sound a bit rushed at times to keep to a prescribed length of time.

I don’t know if you know this, saw your video on making money with friendlies and I also discovered something that can exploit a game when you create a save, if you add the Finnish league you can set the date as far back as 2018 and if you choose to mange in a different league where the pre season doesn’t start till 2019, you pretty much get a whole year where you can just arrange friendlies etc to but up a Ton of cash. Might be an idea for a video, your welcome lol
Have to say i'm a bit disappointed. I've read the guide on the website so i hoped this vid would make certain stuff more clear but seems you were just reading the stuff already posted on the website. You could've at least dragged around the player to showcase the different positions in a particular dutie. The entire pressing/shape thing and the dynamic running endurance/sprinter thing needed more in depth coverage and not just showing the graph in the video for the latter.
I agree, some people just find it hard to read a guide of that length and find it easier in video format. Thanks for your comment though, will take it on board
Yes, I agree with this. I’ve used the Guide around 5 years ago and still use most of what I learned there today. I understand the intention of this video, but a set of examples or case studies would be a better use of a video in this case.
I have to disagree with some of the points. When trying to protect a lead late in the game and wanting to hit the opposition on the counter when they go all out attack, I find it quite fitting with a defence that stays back at all times - all on defence duties, but with one or two attackers or wingers that stays in the opposition half as an outlet for a counter, and with a midfield duo or trio all on support roles.

I've had 2 back to back promotions and top of the league 10 games into season 3 lol. i just bossed the AI in the transfer market. i'm consistently 1 league ahead. gonna use some of your ideas to try. need to make my team better. i have celtic and rangers to de-throne👍
Got him for milan and i use him as an af with an amc behind. He scores plenty but is inconsistent. He gets hat tricks and next game misses for fun, get bad ratings and i fine him for that
Rafael Mota 2DLF on either side, AF up front. I’ve only managed to get it to work on high tempo relatively direct sides with midfielders that can move quickly up field to support (bbm, mez, soV)
I play two really wide as inside forwards and one advanced forward. I mean as wide as u can play them. Then set tactics to play down both flanks. You must play with wing backs though and 3 cb. One of them as libero. Has to be good on them the ball.
I came here to try and find out what positions would better fit a possession tactic, but i left with more questions then i came in. In a good way though
Role combinations is key for fm expetional in attack wrong combination dont have result..I playing wrong way roles combiinationa Why I dont think what is read...and I liesen wrong advises..Some wrong combination who I read Targar man -poacher it is dont working..why?You must very good knowlege by roles..targer man is player who catch ball from back and he go in middle..in the position he jumping and pull down ball fora team mate,player who stick close him,it is probarly plsyer who playing in the middle..it is support for middle no for antoher attackers why poacher is long way from him..target man and mezzala attack cental midd.attack role,player from cental of the pitch..if you playing tm is one playing shadow striker or ap -a...next I playing comb..f9 - pocher it is stupid combinatio and never go have to much goal..i change pocaher pressing forward and look goos

@@AH-rz2zl just a normal 4231. Sometimes played if/iw, but often switched it to normal wingers depending on who was playing on the wings
