I love Nastassja Kinski. She was a very special figure of the movies in the eighties, particularly from '80-'85. She worked with some of the greatest talent, and some of the biggest stars in the land during that time, even if some of the movies she was in turned out to be misfires. I can't think of anybody in mainstream film like her today. We have had numerous British beauties over the years, and a French one, in Marion Cotillard, but no one quite like Kinski (who's German) since that time.
RIP Ronnie Taylor (October 27, 1924 - August 3, 2018), aged 93 RIP Dudley Moore (April 19, 1935 - March 27, 2002), aged 66 RIP Richard Pryor (December 1, 1940 - December 10, 2005), aged 65 RIP Margot Kidder (October 17, 1948 - May 13, 2018), aged 69 You will always be remembered as legends.
Even though I did not like ''Blade Runner'', I have to agree on that one. As much as a fine picture ''Gandhi'' is, the Oscar for Art Direction should have gone to ''Blade Runner''. It should have also been nominated for Best Cinematography.
Interestingly, i think Blade Runner should also have been nominated for Cinematography, and I wouldn't have minded Das Boot nominated for Art-Direction either.
IM A BROADCASTER AND AN ACTOR.(there's many incredibly STRANGE things about this man and his life).first....the MOVIE love sick was HORRIBLE.he must have been INSANE when he agreed to do it.OR he hated himself and that justified him doing it.OR he had physical abuse charges pending on him FROM HIS 4 X WIVES.so he did a plea bargain. To get out of those marriages HE thus was FORCED To do love sick.(secondly.Arthur the movie was BRUTALLY LAME at best-a bad movie overall.MEDIOCRE at best acting.HORRIBLE cliche script and TERRIBLE music by the AWFUL SONG VOCALIST Chris cross.(and I saw a documentary on him ADMITTING to the interviewer HOW HE WAS GOING TO PERISH/DIE.(none of it made sense).SO MY POINT HERE IS...........YES A TALENTED MAN..........but yet.......A FREAKY FREAKY FREAKY personal and business life........your replies are welcomed.

"And now, for our next award, please welcome a man who will play Batman so damn well he's already forgot how funny he was on "The Night Shift"."

Give Gandhi Best Cinematography, but Blade Runner deserved Best Production Design more.
Even though I did not like ''Blade Runner'', I have to agree on that one. As much as a fine picture ''Gandhi'' is, the Oscar for Art Direction should have gone to ''Blade Runner''. It should have also been nominated for Best Cinematography.
No it didn't.
One From the Heart deserved best cinematography. Don't act like it didn't.
@@BrendanJSmith Look, I understand. But One from the Heart earned
an Oscar nod for Tom Waits' adaptation score in 1983.
Richard Pryor... What a legend
Interestingly, i think Blade Runner should also have been nominated for Cinematography, and I wouldn't have minded Das Boot nominated for Art-Direction either.
Nastassja Kiski outfit is gorgeous.
2:45 Olivia Neutron Bomb...my god so so so stunning!
Yeah!
Gosh, all of these movies should have won! Blade Runner lives on, which is the true Oscar winner!
I think the joke was Richard Pryor did work with Dudley Moore in the 1980 box office bomb Wholly Moses
Gandhi has great art direction & cinematography.
Richard Pryor Dudley Moore are missed
Did the same band who did the scores on the 83' oscars also do the music for super smash on GameCube? Lol
Regina Hall should have taken notes from the late Richard Pryor on how to host.
🤣🤣🤣. IM DEAAAAAD. Dudley said F***k that, you ain’t setting me on fire!!!!
Norman Dorme is my Great uncle! And Staurt Craig is my mum's cousins godfather!
Blade Runner getting robbed for Art Direction.
Not exactly a loss.
Omg ,that bgm..
.
Please could you also show Gandhi winning best makeup?
How Blade Runner lost Art Direction?
It's not exactly a loss. It's a triumph in the making of the movie.
🤨🤨🤨🤨wtf blade runner deserves to be nominated in BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY AND IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN WON 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
..and Allan Daviua should of won for E.T.
You're absolutely right.
Steven Spielberg stole Satyajit Roy script.. To make et... Very few people know the truth!!!
@@manasbanerjee9181 didn’t take away from it being fantastic.
and you wonder why we never hear from Nastassja Kinski...
I never had to.
Why? What happened?
A woman appears anxious in front of millions of people? Yeah what a mess! She must be on drugs or something!?wrong channel incell
Blade Runner got robbed
AzureDragon97 completely agreed
Margot Kidder appears years after on Pixar's Toy Story, as Bo Peep.
That wasn’t Margot Kidder. That was Annie Potts.
No. It was Annie Potts.
Nastassia Kinski was high
No. Nervous, though, it seemed. But she pulled through and did just fine.
margo wtf... gone with the wind dress

Ah, yes -- the baffling Gandhi sweep
Gandhi beating Blade Runner and One From the Heart not even being nominated is actually criminal.
Blade Runner got 2 Oscar nods for art direction and visual effects while One from the Heart got an Oscar nod for Tom Waits' adaptation score.
Boredom
Das Boot
Blade runner should’ve won
Kiss-ups
