Rana! I’m so happy to have come across your videos. I’m new to all of this. I have my fourth hand building class tomorrow and I’m going to attempt your succulent planter. Yours is beautiful and your style of teaching is clear and calm. Thank you!
Thank you for generously sharing your project!! I csn't wait to make one or a few. I have plants waiting for a home - i buy plants but never seem to get them into a planter ; / now i have a great project to make just for them !
Your tutorial is the best....you are wonderful with quiet, clear visual instructions. So happy I found you during this hard time coping with the Covid-19--such sweet relief. Stay safe. Diane R. Rosenthal
It's a really great tutorial. Very clear instructions, looks as it was easy to make and have not much worse result ;). Thank you for sharing the idea. I'm gonna try it one day :)
Well Miss. Curlylocks you just got yourself a new fan I have subscribe! I actually watched your video for the first time last night on the mug found this one this morning as I'm getting ready for work and I am now late LOL
Nice tute, nice planter. That design could make a neat canteen, or vase. Egg shaped or square/diamond shaped cutters might be interesting too. Possibilities are endless.
Such a great job of teaching an such a cool project. I found the entire project inspirational and easy to follow. I managed to find the cutters, similar place mat but could you share the glaze color/brand. I have made so many mistakes with glazes help would be appreciated
I would add 3 holes in base for drainage if you are using real plants otherwise they will drown when watered. Great tutorial thankyou from Queensland Australia
Rana, I’m currently making this in my pottery class. it’s built & bone drying now. If i can figure it out, I’ll post a pic of the finished product, but already know it won’t be as nice as yours. Thank you
I love the tutorial, but with my first attempt, the circle sides kept buckling away from the middle portion, and when I tried to belly it out, I got cracks by the opening. Did I let my clay get too dry? Thanks so much.
You do a wonderful job of demonstrating and I love that it's something different! I went on the site Bonanza to find the decorative vinyl mat that you used and I did not see it anywhere on the site. I have looked to find place mats that are like it and I just am coming up empty, Any other suggestions for the mat? I have googled everything I can think off! Thank you for sharing your talents!!
Amazing! I took an elderly lady to a creative clay class in order to give her an activity and social life. One of the ladies insisted that I have a ball of clay and join-in. 3 months later, and I’m totally hooked. I was dreaming how I could create perfect flower patterns, and imagine my joy when I found you and your beautiful planters and mugs! Thank You So Much for helping me explore my creative potential ✨🙏✨
That was so beautifully done, explained it very well and the camera was in a very good position. Thank you.

Thank you so much. So sweet of you.
dangggggg your work is so good
Beautifully done. I wonder if it needs a drain hole in the bottom in order for plants to thrive?
Wonderful! Made 2 of these yesterday. But now wondering how you glazed it.
Such shrinkage!! Why can't I lose weight that easily?! LOL
Great job! Curlyrana81 You're a star!
Thnaks so much. Will try this tomorrow!

😎 shirt also 😎 planter, the thumb nail of planter drew me in, the T=shirt made me subscribe
Tankki you! Kiitos from Finland. T
Thank you...😍😍😍😍
Awesome!
Would it work to make the plantar wider by using a 3” wide edge strip instead of 2”? Really like your video!
hello from London UK.
This is Beautiful. I am going to have a go as well. What did you glaze this piece with? Is it fired in an electric kiln or gas?
Bravo!
Hi, I LOVE the glaze on this 😍 can you please share what you used? Thanks
Rana, I’m currently making this in my pottery class. it’s built & bone drying now. If i can figure it out, I’ll post a pic of the finished product, but already know it won’t be as nice as yours. Thank you
Excellent
Amazing
Very creative project! Why you didn't reinforce the joints with a coil? Did you use a damp box to slowly dry it?
Thank you, I'm going to give this a try! How thick would I need to roll the clay out to?
My slab roller is by dual not measurement. I’d say a little thicker than you would use for a mug.
Hi there ! For the larger round cutter: what is the actual size for purchasing?
Oh no!!!! Fingernails on a chalkboard!! Ha ha, wonderful tutorial
Love this! how much clay did you use to make the planter?
Great video Curly's Clay Creation!!!! What sizes are the cutters? Thanks you!!!!
Great instructions. Lighting Could be better as there were lots of shadows. This is my next project in the studio 😊
Phenomenal.
I love the tutorial, but with my first attempt, the circle sides kept buckling away from the middle portion, and when I tried to belly it out, I got cracks by the opening. Did I let my clay get too dry? Thanks so much.
Dara Mosher It sounds like it dried up too much. You want it so still be flexible

Try googling floral die cut vinyl placemat.
