Hey guys, loe the podcast and the information that you bring forth, both for tattoo artists and enthusiasts! First, the MET Gala is done as a fundraiser for the Costume Institute at the MET to help maintain, conserve, expand and explore fashion and accessories through time for anyone and everyone to enjoy. It was started in the 80's by Anna Wintour at Vogue and has been the event of the year for philanthropists and celebrities alike. Yes fashion brands/houses do buy tables and invite their ambassadors/ friends of the brand/house to attend. For the most part yes what they wear is provided to them for the exposure but there are numerous in attendance, even as celebrities that pay for what they are wearing that evening. Second... a topic I feel you should explore is tattoo hesistancy from both a potential client as well as the artist point of view! (Speaking from someone who just got their first tattoo after 20+ years of hesistancy)
Lol i've been telling people that the movie industry needs a tattoo consultant so that when these characters have tattoos for whatever reason, they look good and make sense
I have a few clients that will travel with me to conventions depending on which weekend n location. Got a husband n wife driving from CT to Ohio to get tattooed at Hell City by me this weekend. Have another client driving from CT to NH for a convention.
Great Video as always the tattoos of the second celebrity girl i Think matteo nangeroni did a half patchwork sleeve on her Check the dude he is a amazing Artist
Next step in western tattoing: keep the tattooed skin after death, to make it be like a painting. Cause a painting can go for hundreds of years, a tattoo just a lifetime... i know they kind of did it in Japan already. After "tattoo while under" let me present you "tattoo when anaesthesia went wrong". One of my hand has been done by Guy, 10 years after it's still awesome and was done at lightning speed😂 cheers take care
Suggestion: it’d be cool if u showed tattoos ur guests have done to see what they r about while u introduce them. ❤❤ love u guys. Great episode
Good idea!!
