- HERE YOU WILL SEE MY *PRE ARRIVAL* VIDEO OF THE FDNY OPERATING FOR A CAR FIRE ON EXTERIOR STREET IN THE GRAND CONCOURSE AREA OF THE BRONX IN NEW YORK CITY.
JJ you can get a smoking deal on a car now. 😅😅🚒👍🚒👍
Interesting how the box system works. We don't have that system where I live. Great video! 😊
I never knew that about the box and the address. Very interesting. Great video JJ.
Great catch John excellent coverage as usual
Certainly burnt to a crisp, don't even recognize what type of car it is
@@stephaniekelly4384It's called a soggy crispy chip😄
Great video John. Cars are made of plastics and so much volatiles the smoke it gives off is very dangerous even in open air. Be careful around them.

Great catch, at least nothing else was damaged. Stay well
Great catch John!
Great to see, sort of, Engine 68. The New York Yankees engine (first due). Has the pinstripes and all. That car was as burnt as the e-car the other day. Thanks for the video. Don't see E68 much. 🚒🇺🇸
Now the important facts, did you bring the marshmallows?
He ain't marshmellin.
Actually the car is S'mores
Nice work John, the Bronx is certainly burning this week!
Surprised FDNY doesn’t wear S.C.B.A. for car fires.
I UNDERSTAND AND THANKS SO MUCH.....
Great job stay safe watch for flying nuts
Ahh... It will buff tight out, don't you think?? 😁
JJ Great timing getting there, Very Nice catch..That car is Toast wow..
Hi JJ Very wise idea to go to the proper location where the fire was --- Debbie & Tiffany
YES INDEED AND THANKS SO MUCH.....
Extra crispy. 😮
Nuts popping off the wheels. Who knew?
Thank you John. Great work guys.
Hot car! Great video as always!
INDEED AND THANKS SO MUCH.....
The driver side doors are missing. These things can’t melt can’t they? I’ve seen a lot of car fires but this one is rating in the top 5. There’s nothing left! Great vid as always JJ!
YES, THE DOORS MELTED.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Maybe the car was stolen and abandoned as a hot car
Exactly. Sounds suspicious but why? Drugs, body, robbery, hiding evidence of some kind. .
Baboom boom claanng! Hood one!😂😂
That much fire, it’s is definitely a hot hot car.
When we used to find them like that in DC, it was likely stolen and used in a crime. It's a rather isolated place and with no owner around, it's definitely suspicious. Great work on all angles!
Nice catch JJ. Happy 4th Brother. Be safe.
YES AND YOU AS WELL.....THANKS.....
great work fdny,, thanks for sharing too John!! god bless our hero's !!
That's what I call a crispy car! Good video JJ.
YES INDEED MAUREEN.....THANKS SO MUCH.....

YES, IT HAS BEEN VERY BUSY OUT HERE GARY.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Wow! That car was totally demolished. Literally nothing but a shell. I wonder who belonged to that car. Or even what kind of car it is.
Awesome job! It's funny that the driver and rear doors are missing and the passenger side is still on. I guess they were aluminum?
Good Job Joe
THANKS SO MUCH JOHN.....
still great video either way captioning incoming is key
You all have had so many fires in the Boogie Down Bronx the last week or so, maybe you should change the name to the Burnin Down Bronx. lol 😜
No S.C.B.A.? That's crazy!
New tires, a paint job and this car should be "as good as new"! LOL
HAHAHA! I DO NOT THINK SO BUT THANKS SO MUCH.....
I’m also curious is that a 2 1/2 off the bumper or do they use 1 3/4?
JJ I'm looking forward to seeing some good videos 4th of July if fdny will ever be busy like the 80s and early 90s.
Do you remember nyc on the 4th of July.
Hellfire!
INDEED AND THANKS.....
Oh😮
YUP.....THANKS.....
@@THEMAJESTIRIUM1 You're welcome
Observations
Engine was parked downhill from the car on fire.
Wheels on the car were not chocked.
No SCBA was worn or used by the hose team.
Clearly the driver had to stop his/her car there because it was on fire and they had to escape it ASAP. I'm curious as to why cars catch on fire like that - unless this is another lithium-ion battery fire.
NO, THE GUY WAS THERE AND SAID IT WAS SPARKING FROM UNDERNEATH AS HE WAS DRIVING IT.....IT WAS HIS FRIENDS CAR.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Could be the car started on fire while driving and was just parked at that location. Enjoy the holiday, greetings from Los Angeles.

What No RAC. C'Mon Mannnn.. If you see any Iowa License plates on New York cars, they are out dated and most likely resold by a scrap yard in the Omaha/Council Bluffs Area. The county treasurer gave a bunch of expired plates to a group of Boy Scouts to take to a recycle center, to get money for them, well how much, they didn't say, but the news has reported the plates are showing up in New York City, speed camera tickets are coming to the owners of the plates, which shouldn't be happening if the county treasurer took them out of service.
Looks like a BMW 😮
ISK BUT THANKS SO MUCH.....
Did nobody notice that the doors on the driver side are not there, but the right side doors are there
I AM NOT SURE HOW ALL THAT HAPPENED BUT THE GUY DRIVING IT WAS ON SCENE.....THE DOORS HAD TO HAVE MELTED.....THANKS SO MUCH.....
Did the cab loose its pins striping? Or is it just my eyes
We're are the doors on the driver side ??
THEY MELTED.....THE GUY WAS THERE AND SAID IT WAS SPARKING FROM UNDERNEATH AS HE WAS DRIVING IT.....IT WAS HIS FRIENDS CAR.....THANKS SO MUCH.....

Not one Ff wearing BA. Wearing BA is standard practice here in the UK for vehicle fires,
And the trunk looks like it might have been strip ???
At least it wasn't a Tesla and didn't take 12 hours to extinguish.
I cringe to think of what firefighters might find once the fire is out.
I AGREE AND THANKS....
THEY DID NOT FIND ANYTHING.....THANKS.....
A little suspicious only car park there. Someone called and address mixed up. Maybe not
At least it wasn't a Tesla and hope it doesn't burn all night long...
I AGREE AND THANKS SO MUCH.....
Interesting how the deck lid, hood, both fenders, and both drivers side doors are all missing. I bet it's a stolen car.
NO, IT WAS NOT STOLEN.....THEY GUY WHO WAS DRIVING IT TOLD US IT WAS NOT HIS AND THAT IT STARTED SPARKING FROM BELOW AS HE WAS DRIVING IT.....THANKS SO VERY MUCH WILLIAM.....
EV’s don’t go out real quick. EV’s suck and are a hazard.
They better check that thing for a body. 😅
OMG, it's not a Tesla!
NOPE....THANKS SO MUCH.....
J J. Very Toxic Gases From These Car 🚙🔥 Fires, Good Coverage. Keep Your Distance. J J. Capeesh, 🤺🤺🤺🤺🇺🇲
I just don't get these tactics/leadership... Car fires have three research backed and known stages of highly carcinogenic off-gasing and venting stages during extinguishment, yet not one Firefighter is wearing SCBA, its unacceptable, not to mention the risk for eye injury too from reactive magnesium explosion. Furthermore what exactly is around 6+ guys all carrying halligans and roof hooks going to do? if you need to open the hood, one is all you need... Its just mind-blowing for a department with such a name for itself allows these completely inexcusable practices. There is absolutely no reason Firefighters should not be wearing SCBA. Proper decon and doffing of gear should then occur too, after the call. It reflects so badly on these guys.
I guess the Mayberry FD can teach the NYFD a thing or too….
Maybe you should join the FDNY since you know a lot more then these professionals who go thru one of the toughest training in the world
Ego and reputation does not protect a person from health issues.
Maybe they're afraid of looking like wimps in front of the other guys.
@@emmanuelmartinez5588 Just drop the ego and pride and consider that, the purpose of SCBA is to be worn to protect firefighters from IDLH environments and carcinogens. This sort of egotistical dismissive nonsense helps nobody. There is no space for debate here, these sorts of incidents call for SCBA usage and there is absolutely no excuse for not using it.
That's not gonna buff out. 😮
"Parts only."😂😂
NOPE....;o( THANKS.....
Probably a stolen car. When the economy is bad, you also get owners calling in the car stolen then setting them on fire for the insurance.
No DNA to be found here.
NOPE.....HEHEHE.....
had this been an ev 🔥 fire foam and tons of it. Water doesn’t work because of the chemicals used in the batteries reacts plus it very very hot. over a thousand degrees Fahrenheit.
@@MARKLOCKWOOD2012 we have been told to not use foam and to flood it water, the blanket of foam doesn’t cool them to prevent the continuation of thermal run away
@@bloodravensterminator8594 Thank you for that info
