Your "whiskey flask" is more commonly known as a preform. It's what they heat and vacuum form to turn into various sized coke bottles. They're useful for keeping all sorts of stuff in. You can also wind paracord or other cordage around them.
Also bought the GP-7 SSB unit. I believe it is made by Tecsun. Compares favorably with a Sony ICF-2002 I had years ago.
The whistle is SOLAS rated as a auditory signaling device for anyone going out on a boat. The plastic tube is a 2 liter soda bottle before being expanded, that can hold liquids or other bits and bobs. Thanks for sharing. KC3UEE
CAGE stands for Commercial and Government Entity. It is a unique identifier issued to government and defense suppliers.
I purchased the GP-7 SSB and the extra battery and charger a year or so ago. Actually, a pretty good receiving radio and I thought the battery lasted fairly long. The battery lasted over 6 months, just siting on my desk, with very occasional use.
I think the one I have is version 5
I picked up some of their glow in the dark rings for a key chain and they are bright
The "Whiskey Flask" is the perfect size for a spare Bolt Carrier group for your range bag. If you were so inclined.
Good idea
The "Whiskey Flask" tube was originally designed for Army Medics to store controlled meds in, like morphine, etc. The barcode on the meds could be scanned easily while in the tube. Once the cap is screwed down, it has a break-away seal just like 2 liter soda bottles. A quick way to verify if the tube had been opened and tampered with.
I think someone mentioned it but the tube is an un-extruded 3 liter soda bottle. I bought several of them when CC first offered them, back in 2005ish, I used a couple for my range bags. I kept a USC (Universal Cleaning Stick) from CC, a pen sized double ended machinist screwdriver, patches, small parts, etc in them. They are darn near indestructible, I've drove over one, parked on one and spun it out from under the tire with my Silverado. Some scratches but intact and the contents were unharmed. @@HamRadio2
I really appreciate that website having a screen reader mode. However, I'm not sure I understand what the screen reader mode does because I was able to read the website without using the screen reader mode using Talkback on my Android
Cool site, have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up
The CAGE code is a sort of part number, allowing government entities to order the widget in question "through the system".
Benadryl for sinus, allergies.
Tylenol for headache.
Yep
County Comm is addicting
thats not a whiskey bottle its a pee bottle in case the next rest stop is 200 miles away...😁never heard of countycomm have to go see what the fuss is about.
These look like items you would try to win with the Claw Machine game at the local pizza place.
They're much higher quality though
For me Tylenol are like sugar pills Bc are Goody's works for me
They lost me at the whistle
Lol
You're a reviewer who doesn't know what a nail puller, DOPP bag, or throw down is? Parts tray?
