Real beauty - would be the best present for myself if I had CHF12000 to spare on my triathlon passion. Amazing how many more canyon bikes you now see at IM events thanks in part to JF and his success/collaboration with Canyon.

Not only at IM events, but also in more local races. Last weekend in Cologne, about 2/3 of all tri bikes seemed to be from Canyon.
Yes, they are great, but it was a little bit boring.

There are still rims and hubs for rim brakes in production. Rim brakes are easier to travel with (by airplane, train or car) and the allow for a fork that bends a bit under load. The bike is also lighter with rim brakes.

When I started Triathlon, Canyons were an embarrassment. Good value for money, but nothing desirable.
That certainly has changed. Kudos to Roman for that long term business strategy.
