I miss having the option to rush or take it easy. That's why they old maps from CoD4-Mw3 were so good. They fit every play style while. You could rush with akimbo FMG9s or post up with claymores and an ACR. The killstreaks were great and they stacked on eachother. The blueprint for great CoD games is there. Now we gotta be cracked out 24/7 on these small maps with everyone sliding and diving everywhere it's so silly.

Just as many “new players” that stick around cause of SBMM there will be just as many mid-upper level players that leave cause they aren’t allowed to chill on the game. Have to sweat out every game they’re in.
We also have to remember that a LOT of people didn't have headsets back then compared to now. Not many people would of considered having the idea of buying a Turtle Beach or Astro headset back in the day. That's just my take on that 4:47
Call of duty ghosts was my best cod. I had Tritton Triggers and was able to hear footsteps very well. I had around 280 kem strikes because of it. People did have headsets, but it wasn't like the current games. Footsteps now control these games, which ruins it for me. It's what I don't like about warzone and the gunfight game mode
@@clifflee54 Dead silence on Ghosts gave a 99% deafening effect. Footsteps couldn't be heard with it on. You could play without a headset in competitive. They sounded like elephants without it. A cheap headset was more than enough.
Never in my life did I think I would ever hear anyone be nostalgic for AW. 4 out of the 5 games released between BO2 and MW2019 were genuinely awful, IW, AW, WW2, Ghosts, all easily at rock bottom in a tierlist of the franchise.
i agree with everything except WW2. yes it was quite buggy but at least it had an identity. all the guns felt good and some of the new game modes they introduced were very fun. WW2 is still one of my favorites of all time.
That's what most people who didn't play GBs or UMGs back then say man. It's just how it goes. AW and Ghosts were so fruitful and competitive in ways COD had never experienced before. Bo2 was solid it was, but AW and Ghosts specifically were amazing. IW was downhill in my opinion.
Really disappointed with their opinions on SBMM and microtransactions. SBMM is single handedly ruining multiplayer. It’s shafting Jimmy to protect Timmy. It’s a false sense of reality for casual players. Matchmaking wasn’t broken so there was no need to fix it. Every so often casual players in say for Example CoD4 came up against a quality player in the lobby. Thats how they got better, that’s how I learned. It’s ruining the experience for profitability and anyone that says differently is quite frankly wrong. It’s destroyed the casual experience when you play with friends who are casuals. I don’t want to play every game against players where it seems their life is on the line. It might mean it retains players more but it doesn’t say that when they’re playing that their experience is enjoyable. Microtransactions, whoever came up with the idea is a very clever person, because again, surprise surprise it increases profitability. But people are already forking out £70+ for new releases that could have been £30 DLC’s. These Optic guys are brands, they’re businesses so I get that’s where their mind is at but remember we aren’t all as well off like you. You shouldn’t have to pay to win. If you’re paying £70+ for the game, that’s it, you get what you pay for. It’s the mentality of the above from people whose opinions matter to the devs that’s never going to see SBMM and microtransactions gone.
If it was ruining multiplayer, it wouldn’t be in the game. The makers clearly have data that says SBMM helps retention. If they were losing a significant amount or players bc SBMM, do you really think it would be here?
@@TraumaTizedLOL1 @ You’ve just backed my point tho? The matchmaking favours lesser players who make up the majority of their customers so ofc it’s going to help with retention? It’s profitable to forget about the players who are half decent and loyal and have played for 17+ years like myself. They have no interest in my experience who are wise to what they’re actually doing, they care about Timmy that’s just picked up the game and will spend his pocket money on bundles.
@@XLNC7 well yeah. I mean why would they? The whole point for them is making money, and SBMM helps them do that by retaining casual players. I agree it sucks for good players, but what is the alternative? They are a business
@ I 100% get that everything revolves around making money. But they’re a multi billion dollar company and they’ve surpassed greed. They’re a monopoly. And now they’re affecting the core gameplay experience for a lot of people. There was nothing ever wrong with old matchmaking, I’ve played online since CoD4, it was never an issue. If they want some form of SBMM to line their pockets then have it, but tone it right the fuck down. Or just put it in a ranked playlist where it belongs.
I agree with Zinni absolutely. Seth says he hates it, but it's good for the community. Absolutely NOT! Zinni said, "If you hated losing, get better." Nowadays, you have to try your ass off every game.
Bro, going to be honest the SBMM moment in this video. Let’s talk about it: If you want a “competitive” experience and improve play ranked, GB’s, wagers, or 8’s. As the more I get older I just want to enjoy a franchise I enjoy sit back from my stressful life (I feel like everyone could agree). And let CoD be my escape goat. At my best in CoD it’s when competitive was everything and I was “nasty.” But as time goes on and my interests change I just want to sit back play good a couple games, grind some cameos. And enjoy a franchise I feel in love with like the rest of us did. People could say I’m in those “easy lobbies” I’m on main stage for half a million dollars prize money 300k twitch views on an event. It’s actually insane I have a 1.3 KD those lobbies are easy 2.00+ why am I having to sweat or try so hard just to get so little it is killing the franchise. I don’t ever remember CoD ever being that sweaty as it once was. Back then you got a sweaty match tell me if I’m wrong but it made you want to try even harder and get better?! Having that satisfaction of going insane one game against people that I was once at there skill level. But trying to get better feels like impossible task because you’ll always always get main stage lobbies!….
Personally, I don’t think I would have bought the last 5-6 games if I didn’t still keep up with pro cod or watch content creators. I don’t think the game would die but it wouldn’t be what it is without these scenes.
@pahul79 COD4 is garbage compared to games like BO2, WW2, BO MW2 (2009). *WW2* : • *Straightforward FPS* ✅ • *Simple Aim settings* ✅ • *Great MP* ✅ • *NO Automatic Disbanded Lobbies* ✅ • *Trash Talk & Competition* 🎧 • *NO SBMM* ✅ imo & experience • *Mini Map & Map Voting* ✅ Thats everything BO2 had it was exceptionally better after the Overhaul Update but *I bet you ran to Fornite, Apex Legends like everybody else* WW2 is the best COD in the last 7 years and I played for 7 years until BO6 dropped. Agree to disagree , play what you like and I'll do the same.
@ ww2 was just another in a long line of trash cods infected with supplydrops. Dosent even come close cod4-bo2, maybe top 12 best cods if being generous
I loved the randomness of the lobbies back then. it made me play wanna play harder when i was up against higher skill. and i wasnt being “punished” the next game if i done well. now you play hard, youre shit on for the next 5-10 games. its mentally draining to keep trying that hard every single fucking game
Because of SBMM, my friends don't have fun playing with me anymore. They say my lobbies are too sweaty and rage a lot. It's kind of depressing actually from my perspective. I just want all my friends and I to enjoy playing the game together.
13:31 i'm mad no one elaborated about the dynasty. I would've loved to hear their thoughts explicitly on how they compared to the other dynasties. I saw the optic dynasty, but that was 7 years ago
I was never a fan of the jet packs but for me I feel that bo2 was definitely peak cod. I’ve made memorable moments in bo2 than any other cod game I’ve ever played period
i feel like whenever they come out with a new cod should stary off with 16 of the best maps from previous cods and just progressively add more maps, can keep the trash maps in game but dont add them to new games
im a multiplayer player and i think pro warzone players are better than pro multiplayer players, i shifted over to warzone and it takes alot of planning and strategy and pressure to win, sometimes you gotta go against a full squad solo
Wasn’t a big fan of jet pack cods but Mw1 Mw2 Bo1 Bo2 and ghost were all my favorite . Didn’t play much of bo3 or aw. But 1440p 120hz on a nacon revolution 5 pro and Omni movement? This has been very fun cod experience I ain’t complaining 😶🌫️
i just got off after two matches because SBMM decided I had to play my mandatory games being the worst player in the lobby. That’s the problem is that sbmm doesn’t solve anything long term. As a player who is mediocre at best with a 1.5 KD sbmm always shoots me back and forth between lobbies where I feel like a sweat and lobbies where I can’t even get off spawn.
I mean it’s cool but Black Ops 1 and Modern Warfare 2 on rust with the intervention will always be #1. Cookin in the kitchen with some care package out with the commando knife and doing the elevator glitch on Derail. Memories😎
I agree with Methodz on SBMM - it wasn’t a problem back in the day for the older heads playing against kids that would scorch them …why would we think we should cater to the casual gamers now?
I think the fact that I get put in lobbies with the sweatiest of the sweats where every player has dark matter in the first week and every game feels like a cdl match is what does it for me. I don’t want to sweat my ass off every time I pick up the sticks. I’m not even a bad player but this shit is bad at this point.
CRAZY HOW TIMES CHANGE. Everyone was crying for boots on the ground when we had jet packs and now its the best movement. CoD Devs got a point now imo, imagine trying to please the CoD community LOL

hecz talking over pamaj on the snipers question. like dude we want to hear the god of cod snipers opinion, not the team managers

@@red5587is this your burner hecz?
Kenny and hecz need to teach every optic member how to dress up 😂😂
fits good shoe choices are in question here sorry just my opinion what are we going to defend them with they wore that trash for contrast wtf
bro kenny is wearing female pants lol
You need to stop worrying about dumb shit
Damon DOES NOT care lmao
The pants?!
How far back in time was this filmed? They are still talking about the beta lmao 😅😅
Seriously wtf??? No relevance
of course they thought the movement was clunky then, its so much better now
All these past UA-cam videos were filmed during the Race.
Well considering Seth's hair is buzzcut, its pretty recent lmao..
Lowkey feel like they delayed posting this because the Adsense is better this month/time of year, compared to when this was filmed
Zin shouting the sly cooper series just made my day. best trilogy of all time
Scump might be the best ever to play CoD, but holy shit that man gets dressed like he's Helen Keller.
Lmfao fr he needs to let Hecz pick his closet
Grown men that care bout their (and especially other men's) appearance get the side eye from me. That's a female trait.
I fuck with it, especially that space cat shirts he wears
@@ryanaa9321 worrying about another man's outfit is side eye worthy
Who cares
I miss having the option to rush or take it easy. That's why they old maps from CoD4-Mw3 were so good. They fit every play style while. You could rush with akimbo FMG9s or post up with claymores and an ACR. The killstreaks were great and they stacked on eachother. The blueprint for great CoD games is there. Now we gotta be cracked out 24/7 on these small maps with everyone sliding and diving everywhere it's so silly.
I remember when legit everyone would say "We need boots on the ground to return!" "Jetpacks isn't call of duty" "Jetpacks ruined the gameplay" im sitting there like....jetpacks weirdly might've been the best thing they added to CoD and yall want it gone. Ngl would 1-2 boots games be acceptable....for sure but I feel like the Jetpack era was the second golden era of CoD or at least the tail end of the golden era. We need another game with jetpacks asap.
It was just a loud minority lol bo3 had crazy numbers and crazy interactions, especially pro league
I always thought a jetpack game mode like uplink in a normal cod would be the best
It has taken many a year…. But finally the scumperjumper has evolved into the high and mighty, King BigT.
“You will NEVER experience that” - Hecz 😂
12:44 the only CoD MP we've ever had made entirely by Raven 👀 makes you wonder....
I love how Hector always brings up being super good at the game 😂
hasnt played a cod since host advantage and nobody knew what a headset or back paddles was , of course he was good
He’s a big talker. He doesn’t back it up.
@@IAmTakeru17he can be lol. He just shit talks for fun. He's the org owner of OpTic and rich, he can literally do whatever. He just shit talks and stirs the pot.
The boys talking CoD, having some debates and just having a good time. Great content
why wasn't one of the questions "Should jetpacks make a return to Call of Duty???" or "Should treyarch remaster bo3?"
I was waiting for this
I honestly would like to see jetpack cod
But without this stupid bundles, bring supply drops back and separate warzone as different game.I wish to see new maps ,weapons ,features and everything without depending from which season it is realised or for what time period this thing is available.I want to play like this all entire time.Warzone can keep seasons but I don't want this in MP in new title .
Methods and the sly cooper comment is just straight gas. Guy knows his stuff 🔥
I love hearing karma talking about cod I swear when he talks everybody is quiet and listen to him. GO4T !
getting a pie ad blocker ad on this video while using pie ad blocker is gold
idk why but love seeing Kenny wearing that chain bro
New CoD released means yearly check-in on the OpTic boys. Only been 10 years.
That Iced T dude a chronic yapper holy shit
Just as many “new players” that stick around cause of SBMM there will be just as many mid-upper level players that leave cause they aren’t allowed to chill on the game. Have to sweat out every game they’re in.
My boy karma checked Hecz real quick 😂 2:10
5:38 Hecz checked him right back lmao 😂
"Never left a fucking game in my fucking life DAMON!" 🤣🤣🤣
No one making an argument for complexity being the best dynasty?
I 100% agree! I started with COD4 up to BO2.
Mw2 was my golden era.
When Ghosts came out, I knew they went into the wrong direction.
i agree with everything except WW2. yes it was quite buggy but at least it had an identity. all the guns felt good and some of the new game modes they introduced were very fun.
IW was downhill in my opinion.
dude in grey hoodie had no idea what was going on
Had no opinion on anything
I think sbmm need to be made for competitive modes like ranked play
And any game mode outside will be casual without sweety matchmaking algorythm
The boys have been coming out with banger content on both channels and you absolutely love to see it!!!!!
Remember Blackout? I do. F Warzone and every single variation of it that has ever been made.
u can tell Kenny knew his fit was hard, he moving around fixing his pants ,selves ,walking in place like he at the mall
I agree with Zinni absolutely. Seth says he hates it, but it's good for the community. Absolutely NOT! Zinni said, "If you hated losing, get better." Nowadays, you have to try your ass off every game.
Bro, going to be honest the SBMM moment in this video. Let’s talk about it:
If you want a “competitive” experience and improve play ranked, GB’s, wagers, or 8’s.
8:05 the problem is that they buff the gun that they're releasing a skin for
Best movement is jetpacks/wall running Because it allowed for an entire game mode to exist in Blitz.
Is Hecz ever gonna not wear shades 😂
Personally, I don’t think I would have bought the last 5-6 games if I didn’t still keep up with pro cod or watch content creators. I don’t think the game would die but it wouldn’t be what it is without these scenes.
0:23 *Respect to Call of Duty WW2* the 2nd Greatest COD of All-time.
LOL 😂😂😂.
Ww2 was mid at best.
Did you even play cod4-bo2? Ww2 2nd best cod ?? LOL
@pahul79 WW2 was not mid and did you read what I said, I said 2nd best, BO2 is the GOAT No. 1 and COD 4 is not in my Top 5. 😌 🤦🏾♂️
@ ww2 was garbage in my opinion
@pahul79 COD4 is garbage compared to games like BO2, WW2, BO MW2 (2009).
*WW2* :
• *Straightforward FPS* ✅
• *Simple Aim settings* ✅
• *Great MP* ✅
• *NO Automatic Disbanded Lobbies* ✅
• *Trash Talk & Competition* 🎧
• *NO SBMM* ✅ imo & experience
• *Mini Map & Map Voting* ✅
Thats everything BO2 had it was exceptionally better after the Overhaul Update but *I bet you ran to Fornite, Apex Legends like everybody else*
WW2 is the best COD in the last 7 years and I played for 7 years until BO6 dropped.
This is one of the best videos you guys have ever created. Love it.
I was never a fan of the jet packs but for me I feel that bo2 was definitely peak cod. I’ve made memorable moments in bo2 than any other cod game I’ve ever played period
We ain’t ever getting a cod game with that old cod feeling ever again.
i feel like whenever they come out with a new cod should stary off with 16 of the best maps from previous cods and just progressively add more maps, can keep the trash maps in game but dont add them to new games
Scump looking like BigTymer from a distance lmfaoo
im a multiplayer player and i think pro warzone players are better than pro multiplayer players, i shifted over to warzone and it takes alot of planning and strategy and pressure to win, sometimes you gotta go against a full squad solo
I wanna hear feedback on this “Too many GA’s Can make competitive boring and repetitive to watch/play”
Big optic hecz is the goat man been around forever and still has dope energy to him
100% agree with Kenny on the 5v5 it was so good to play & watch in BO4, Also specialists were a good addition.
2012 was prime cod for the sniping community for sure
I met hecz mom at home depot years back when I worked there. She had an OpTic shirt on. I was a huge fan boy growing up. Cool he's from my area
One thing about what Ken said about the rival, I used the bruen bastion angled grip and it eliminated the visual recoil, oh well. New game now lol
“Sly cooper exists” realest thing I heard
Hecz buys physical movie tickets and spits at the idea of a non-gasoline vehicle that gets over 15mpg. 😂😂😂
Caldera when you bought a bundle and the character had no head and took them weeks to fix pay to win transactions
i love kenny man never let that guy leave optic
What’s stopping optic from signing formal as the substitute?
This Jubilee style video is tight. Very well done. Loved it
Crazy how scump agrees on SBMM when he complained about how crazy SBMM was in MW3. And somewhat in BO6.
Damn Pam switching opinions in the beginning like he switches from faze and optic 😭
W for zin for the casual player love, thanks.
Advanced Warfare pro league matches was peak pro cod.
i just got off after two matches because SBMM decided I had to play my mandatory games being the worst player in the lobby. That’s the problem is that sbmm doesn’t solve anything long term. As a player who is mediocre at best with a 1.5 KD sbmm always shoots me back and forth between lobbies where I feel like a sweat and lobbies where I can’t even get off spawn.
Oh and respect to the guy wearing that Goodfellas tee
I mean it’s cool but Black Ops 1 and Modern Warfare 2 on rust with the intervention will always be #1. Cookin in the kitchen with some care package out with the commando knife and doing the elevator glitch on Derail. Memories😎
I agree with Methodz on SBMM - it wasn’t a problem back in the day for the older heads playing against kids that would scorch them …why would we think we should cater to the casual gamers now?
WAW with an honourable shout out ❤️❤️
Black ops 3 jet packs were insane. Great maps to. Can we get black ops 3 remastered?
I normally only watch the podcasts and streams but this was solid content!
Hecz is like a super senior with cod 4 he just won’t let it go😂
I think the fact that I get put in lobbies with the sweatiest of the sweats where every player has dark matter in the first week and every game feels like a cdl match is what does it for me. I don’t want to sweat my ass off every time I pick up the sticks. I’m not even a bad player but this shit is bad at this point.
I can’t pretend there’s any soul behind these videos
LMAO not Damon calling out LG on Fringe specifically
Edit: MORE OF THIS PLS
Bo2 is peak. Peak pubs, peak comp, peak sniping (pre DSR patch).
“you can say pokémon” thank you pam for being cultured 🤞🏽
Disagree with the skill base , even as lower skilled player I always wanted to at least have the chance to match make with popular YTubers
CRAZY HOW TIMES CHANGE. Everyone was crying for boots on the ground when we had jet packs and now its the best movement. CoD Devs got a point now imo, imagine trying to please the CoD community LOL
6:53 Saying "you missed out on the golden era" to a group including Scump and Pam is crazy work 💀💀💀
And the fact that he thinks "microtransactions" is equal to being able to customize your stuff in-game. Dawg you can do that without having egregious pricing and marketing tactics
All that blacked out room in the background perfect for sponsors or good green screen cod maps or something. Production is still sexy tho
