FWIW I was in Ukraine in August 2024. I spoke to a Ukrainian UA-camr who is very active in supporting Ukraine. He mentioned that informally that he and his colleagues knew of a new strategy of the FSB to “eliminate” voices like his. It wasn’t a joke and he was taking it seriously.
There are a lot of Russians in Southern Spain, so much Russian money was laundered there in building projects before Spain joined the EU. The year I moved to Marbella, there were several Russians gunned down in the streets, supposedly 'Russian mafia' executions. So, if you needed a hit in that part of the world, you would not need to look far.
I have been listening to "Ukraine the Latest" for around 2 years. This is a big blow to the pro Ukraine vlogging community, and should be investigated thoroughly.
The podcast is incredible and informing and I’ve listened to it religiously since its inception. David Knowles voice was iconic and led the intro to every episode and he will be sorely missed. The world lost another good soul that’s irreplaceable a tragedy all too common since the roaches from Russia started this war.
UK, the latest is one of the most substantial regular updates on all aspects of the Ukraine-Russo war. Dom is prior service in the British military, and Francis is an established political analyst. David was the Jounalist. The three give a very detailed overview and have guests that bring personal insight. This is a loss for all of us. The style of reporting he and his cohorts were employing was very real and not about hyped news.
32 is the prime of your life. People don't drop dead from heart attacks at that age unless they are morbidly obese or something. They had said they were going after bloggers and the UK has been the biggest thorn in their side from an internet perspective.
I had a patient attend A&E, who, as it turned out, was having a full blown heart attack. His age 35. He was fit as a fiddle apart from this happening. So certainly possible, that it may be nothing to do with Putler. However......on the other hand it certainly is suspicious, given that various Russians has called for the death of pro Ukraine milbloggers. Slava Ukraini

Wait until the tables are turned. The old gentleman's agreement from the cold war has obviously been mooted. Gloves are off.
@oodyyftnnctewiomc You know the EU is so wide open a couple of trains, and you're anywhere. Even though it's happening around Spain they could be coming from Germany, Hungry... wherever. Spain is big vacation spot.
The guy made the enormous mistake of calling an ex girlfriend. I think she turned it in because they were going to meet up. It isn't like someone from Russia couldn't go there and it isn't like they don't have people that will take the money for a hit. He probably wouldn't have gotten caught had he not made that call. 😳
Man, this is really heartbreaking. David brought so much insight and passion to his work. 💔 It's wild how quickly things can change. It feels like we gotta cherish the voices that make sense of all this chaos. Rest in peace, David. 🙏
Paul, I implore you to listen to Ukraine: The Latest. It is absolutely exceptional and the best source of information regarding the war and the suffering of the Ukrainian people. It goes between 40-60 mins each episode, so it is very easy to get through that each week day. It is a crucial listen.
I think Paul would enjoy Dom and Hamish's comments.
I was listening to you, Jake & David Knowles since day one…..heartbreaking. Novichok??
So sad :( The best coverage on Ukraine.
Suspicious !!!!
Not cool !!!
💯
An Oligark and his family was found dead in their mansion in Spain in 2022 as well, if I remember correctly
And the pilot who defected...
David was exceptional. I listened to Ukraine: The Latest from here in Canada pretty much every day since the start of the full scale invasion of Ukraine. He and his team reported on the war with exceptional professionalism (and a bit of humour). He will be greatly missed not only by myself but undoubtedly by his millions of listeners. Condolences to his friends and family.
David Knowles was incredible. It is hard to believe he was only 32 . He sounded mature . Maybe in his forties. Incredible broadcaster and leaves his mark for one so young. RIP
Social media is a front line! Big time!
David Knowles was very distictive and I can hear his introduction to Ukraine Latest in y head now.
Shame that he passed , a voice of reason and kindness too. Respect.
Ukraine The Latest is absolute must listen news on the war. I’ve been listening since day 1, it was so sad to hear about David’s passing. So young.
I'm not a Telegraph fan but he's blogs are epic. Take time to check him out. RIP. What a legend.
We should treat any sudden death &/or "suicide" as suspicious (and so should the authorities). May Knowles rest in peace.🥀
Going to absolutely miss his voice on the Ukraine podcast. RIP absolute legend.
I still can hear David's voice in my mind. Putin is out to destroy our sanity along with the very lives of any who oppose him. He is the epitome of evil.
Ukraine the latest is definitely one of the best podcasts on the war
@@neilfox3208 the best
In general I dislike the telegraph intensely it's a viscerally rightwing outlet
but the telegraph Ukraine Podcast is absolutely first class. Listened to it every day in the first year of the war
I am sorry to hear about David Knowles
It's a center right publication, it's not even close to looney MAGA.
@@jamesrowland2038 Yes I have the same view of them. David, Dom, Francis, and others made for an incredible team and podcast.
Listening to it you get the sense they are very objective and thorough in their reporting, unlike most of what comes from the Telegraph. Also all of them also seem like great people who really do this because it is important to them on a personal level.
I’ve followed this podcast for years. The quality of the reporting was amazing and David would respond to DMs with Qs for the show etc.
This sounds really suspicious.
So sad. May the Lord grant you eternal peace
Hey. I listen to the Telegraph UK - Ukraine every day. It hit me pretty hard when I listened on September 9th. I've never seen any of them before but I shed tears for them. I appreciate good, solid, trustworthy journalists. I always learn something new after listening to them. I'm a political & military news nerd. I'm writing this before watching your video. I don't know what happened to him except what the guys said on Monday which was he had a medical emergency he was 32. I'm glad to hear you like them too. As the saying goes, bird's of a feather, stick together. I recently came across your videos on UA-cam & have been watching them. I like your commentary on different subjects so, thank you for doing what you do. There's a lot of us out here that have a hunger for trusted news sources. Again, thank you, & thanks for doing this video on David Knowles!!
I listen every day, they are still carrying it forward. Best Ukraine war podcast
The only person i listen to as much as you. I had the same thoughts about the geographic location
Yea terrible stay safe Paul we need you thanks for putting yourself in danger ❤ for Ukraine
Stay safe out there. The Russians are fighting dirty.
Yes Boris Moderna was the kgb agent tasked with this
This is nuts, 32 is way to young, I smell foul play
Our prayers are with his family. He was an amazing journalist.
I have been listening to "Ukraine the Latest" for around 2 years. This is a big blow to the pro Ukraine vlogging community, and should be investigated thoroughly.
Better check him for radiation. You watch out for umbrellas.
Polonium pellets would be too obvious. More likely a nerve agent like Novichok that can be absorbed cutaneously.
Devastating loss for the community. I agree this is a weird lining up of circumstances.
My mornings will not be the same without David's voice. Rip to an amazing person.
Ukraine the latest is one of the best podcasts
32 is the prime of your life. People don't drop dead from heart attacks at that age unless they are morbidly obese or something. They had said they were going after bloggers and the UK has been the biggest thorn in their side from an internet perspective.
That isn't entirely true. It's rare, but not impossible.
bollocks , if your English mate think before you open your mouth because your talking utter bollocks and its embarrassing .
Don't mistake this. The FSB had something to do with this. This man was a good man.
WOW, how absolutely sad! He was awesome and his presentations were great, a favorite of mine! Thank you for getting this information out!❤😢❤
Thank -You for your concern, I have You, Konstantin, Silicon Curtin and Brandon Mitchell but mostly I am a radio listener so "David Knowles" is the Voice of Ukraine for me and I was immediately suspicious at his passing.
Paul thank -You for giving Your voice and the concerning push to follow any inquiry for Me, I trust your efforts and remain extremely grateful.
May God Bless Your Circle of Influence 🙏 stay safe 🇨🇦☮️👐👣🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
Super suspicious…reeks of Russian foul play
Potin 100%
Vladimir Pfizer
i learnt about this 2 days ago n remembered a previous vid on this channel which mentioned death threats to western pro-ukraine voices, saw this title, so im here to see if/what confirms my curious thoughts. Never saw the show, but when i heard co-host announce his death, the emotion in his voice made me cry
FSB infiltrated Gibraltar using the Andalucia border, but UK have sovereign responsibility.
Oh no! Have listened to him,
May he RIP.
Thanks for acknowledging him and his work.
Good work paul
this was such a shock, great tribute Paul, thanks, Ukraine The Latest and Combat Vet Reacts are my go-to's on Ukraine
I listen to them almost every day, it had a lot of great content not limited to war alone. They would interview people who set up things like shelters etc for pets, a prominent Ukrainian journalist who discussed and went over Ukrainian books and literature. They had stories discussing the victims of bucha. Basically its a top notch show that brings the entirety of ukraine to the forefront and not just the war updates. I encourage everyone to listen.
Heart breaking, yet again
I listened to him a number of times on "Ukraine: The Latest". I just listened to him a few days ago. This is news out of Britain. Their updates are pretty good.
A remarkable journalist. And the pod he created is remarkable as well.
Wow, that's a shock! I'm very familiar with this guy, I used to listen to that podcast daily!
I am deeply upset at this. One of my friends here in London knew him so it feels only once removed. PS. This is a massive loss about from the human cost. Ukraine the latest is probably the leading Ukraine war podcast.
Very sad. Ukraine the latest is a great pod, you should all check it out. I have ended every midweek night listening to it since it started at the beginning of the full scale war.
Respect to David Knowles.
I listened to his podcast since the beginning and am shocked by his sudden death
Rip david i lissen everyday
Sad to hear about David, I listened to his podcast several times. He was a highly intelligent man, my condolences to his family and colleagues.
Oh no! David did great reporting. This is tragic.
wutt😳
oooooomg...
listened to each of his shares and looked forward for next tune... it is sad to hear any young person leave this earth too young. simply too young.😔
R.I.P. young man.
thank you so much ♥️
condolences to his family and friends. so sorry for your loss.
Brilliant programme. I was shocked and immediately suspicious.
I have listened and subscribed for the past year and will miss his civil modernization of even handed commentary! I hope that Don and Francis carry on. RIP David my regards and heartfelt condolence for his loved ones.
My daily Ukraine routine (at minimum): Ukraine the Latest, Denys Davydov, Combat Veteran Reacts. Among these Ukraine the Latest is quite unique as it is ran by world class professional journalists and releases every weekday 30 to 60 minutes of fresh quality content with original interviews and even on-site visits. Highly recommended! Very sad to hear David Knowles is gone, but I hope his and our cause carries on stronger than ever. You know you've done something right in your life when you're named enemy of the Russian Federation for your work. To me his death just made my commitment to Ukraine's freedom even stronger than ever. Slava Ukraini, Glory to heroes.
I’m surprised you haven’t listened to “Ukraine, the latest”. It is excellent.
David will be sorely missed. I have listened to Ukraine the latest podcast since they started reporting about the full scale invasion. Thankfully, for us all, real journalism still exists in that podcast.
Curious to know if he was "invited" to go on a trip to Gibraltar, or what reason he may have been there specifically, who knew his travel plans. I do believe ther are "agents" around the world who have suspect lists supplied .. people to be on the look-out for...
Paul, stay strapped & safe, at ALL times!
I watch every episode of their podcast, they are the main source of Ukraine news for me. A bit weird you haven't heard of them tbh.
Listening to his podcast every day. Will be missed. So sad.
I'm really surprised that you've been following the war in Ukraine so closely for years but never heard of this daily podcast
You should, great reporting
I listen to that pod everyday at work,i cant believe it,its a terrible loss for the pod ,and in turn Ukraine
No way?? Man,that is sad. Listened to him just a few days ago
