Here's what I like living in Singapore: - Public transport is so convenient and I can just get around without owning a car! There's also escalators in all the MRT stations which is so so convenient especially if you are carrying heavy stuffs or when you don't want to use the stairs. - No natural disasters which means I can sleep in peace every night without ever being woke up by earthquakes or typhoons - Safety: Agreed with what you mentioned, I can stay out at night or come back home after midnight without much worries. - Strong currency: Spore's strong currency allows us to spend comfortably most of the time during overseas travel. - Amenities and healthcare convenience: Wet markets, hawker centres, coffeeshops are around to provide affordable alternatives. When sick, can just go to a neighbourhood clinic instead of hospitals unlike other countries. This will also free up resources in hospitals for emergencies. Our healthcare quality and infrastructure is also top notch. We don't have to worry about staying in dirty hospital rooms. - Food! - Being a multi-racial country, there's so much food choices from pratas to mee gorengs to Hokkien mee! Not forgetting other countries' cuisine like Korean, Japanese, Italian etc (authentic or not is another issue). - Environment: Our environment is generally quite clean and you don't see vandalism on the walls on the streets like other European countries (thanks to the strict laws). We ladies can wear heels without much of a problem since the pathways in Singapore are less slopey and surfaces are even (don't have to worry about getting heels stuck or trip over some hole). - Water: Water is clean and we could drink straight right from the tap if we want to and without a worry on the water supply shortage (water conservation is still important). I recalled seeing people in London supermarkets buying gallons of drinking water. So thankful we don't need to do that here. - Weather: Singapore would be almost perfect if she has a cooler average temperature but hey! there's always air-conditioner which will resolve this easily and we can enjoy it in malls, offices and public transports. Anyway, laundry will get to dry up faster (with the sunshine and not mouldy smell) which also saves money without the need to purchase a dryer. And I agree with some comments that there is no need for moisturiser most of the time due to the humidity (skin is less dry compared to when in cold weather countries). Overall, I am fortunate and am grateful to be a Singaporean. =) P.S: I know this is a lengthy comment.
I’ve watched your vids for 1-2 years now. I want to say that thank you for bringing perspectives to the small little things Singapore has that made you happy. Definitely also teaches me as a Singaporean to reallllyyyyy count my blessing. we will miss you too. Do come back!
I am 46 now and shifted to singapore 2 years ago. I am in LOVE with this place. The security is the BIGGEST reason Why I love it. My kids come home late sometimes and I don’t worry about their safety. Locals complain SO much about the weather but I LOVE it. This year especially the sea breeze was almost constant and going out for walks has been absolutely wonderful. Humidity has been really good to my skin. I didn’t drive here because I didn’t need to with the awesome transportation system. And I had a transformation with my personal growth here. I want to live here forever ❣️❣️
I love everything about this safe, scintillating city! I have been made to feel welcome for 15 years. So respectful on the mrt, such great weather! I feel blessed that I came here in 2005!
Thank you for reminding Singaporeans (me included) the things we take for granted, and I wish you all the best when you move back to the UK! And yesssssss! to 25 degrees celsius & the reasons why you would want to leave sg!
Yes, I love Singapore too. I do feel Singaporeans take things for granted. Many of us wished we live in a country like Singapore. Safe, clean, good transport system, convenient and cheap hawker food.
Trust me....you’ll shed more than tear when you’re onboard the plane bound for UK for good. I stayed in the UK for 3 years, developed feelings for the country and her people, and then the day came when I had to head back home to Singapore. You’ll get over it...although it’s been 2 decades since I left the UK and there’s still this lingering wonderful thoughts of my time there still. 😅
This is probably the 3rd time I saw your video. I always find it refreshing to gather a different perspective of SG from a foreigner. A very good reminder to us local, to learn to appreciate what we have over here. Thanks for your wonderful sharing. 👍🏼
I'm glad you had so much satisfaction in Singapore. I can tell that you grew a lot too, from your old video from 5-6 years ago; the way you talk in front of camera has became so natural/mature and the past 1 year, you had made more videos than ever before; and you became prettier too staying in Singapore! haha Good luck Georgia!
Thank you very much for your kind comments about our lovely country. I've lived in the UK too, and never realised how much I missed the sun and warmth until I lived in the UK. You are spot on about safety, so do take care!
Singapore is 1 degree north of the equator, so that's why it is hot and humid. We can't move Singapore away from the equator, so it's not Singapore's fault. 😁
Regarding the bubble - sporeans really need to travel more so they get some perspective and stop complaining. So many people have this delusion that western cities have this magical super high standard of living beyond our imaginations and they literally have no idea what they have.
What many foreigners who say this don't get. Is that those Singaporeans who complain are either the rich, meaning they only encounter the rich and privileged when they travel or the lower middle income who cannot afford to travel.
And people need to understand, it is very different being a tourist in a country VS staying in a country as a foreigner VS being a citizen in a country.
Drove in Detroit once at 7pm and I learnt to appreciate Singapore. Yes we are not perfect, but if you are would you live any place else? We visit other countries as tourist and think it great; staying there is different. If u get sick or want food- those are 15 miles away and in the cold.
I studied abroad in SG in 2016 and I miss it a lot for some of the same reasons as you! It’s a fantastic place to live. Best of luck for your future move!
Thank you Georgia for posting this video , agree 100% with you - I was very sad leaving SG 😢... let me share my experience living in SG , I am Canadian Chinese and got my first job with Citibank Sg in the 90’s. Both my kids were born in SG Mt E hospital ( best birthing experience ever !) and fully paid by company ! My favourite memories 1) safety - 100%, I used to tell cab drivers who complain about SG how I needn’t street proof my kids as it’s so safe, I have never been accosted or robbed or burglarized / whereas the first year I moved back to Toronto- my house was broken into and my loss amounted to $50k !!!!
My wife and I lives in the US due to our work. We both miss Singapore. 🙁 we hear gun shots at night, people getting shot, cars getting jacked, druggies in the alleys.. and American thinks it’s normal 🤷♂️ We miss the safety that Singapore offers... and I get taxed ALOT in the US! And the health care cost is expensive! Stupidly expensive! Even for a simple doctors visit it can cost you! And this is after insurance..
Singapore is the safest place to live in the world. I applaud the Government for its strict laws. Unlike many other countries, laws are made to be broken and human right is being abused.
yup, years ago as a kid i went back to Philippines to visit my relatives, in the mall, a kid snatched my PSP but since i had the wrist loop, the psp was still attached to my wrist.
What will you miss the most when u leave singapore? I lived in Manila for three years and returned to Singapore and what I missed most of the philippines is the people...they are always so smiley...even when times are hard for them, I find their smiles incredible. I don't like the place because I think the govt needs to do more for their people there, but what I missed most are the people.
You're so charming. Don't leave Singapore (Singland) we're gonna cry and miss both of you. You're more Singaporean than you know, now. Love your VLOGs.
I studied & worked in the Midlands for 7 years in my 20s. Great travel experiences all around the UK & still have many friends there. But, learnt to hold tight to belongings, lock the car doors when driving, avoid certain inner city areas, put home lights + loud music on timer whenever out/away etc. Singapore is not perfect, but it IS very good.
Hi Georgia, I guess life always have different stages. Don't be afraid. We grow only when we move forward. Ur 2nd home welcomes u back anytime. Singapore isn't Singapore without diversity, including our foreign friends staying here. That's the only way the place will grow too. New and diverse perspectives from our foreign friends. Bless u as u move back to the UK next year. Hope to continue seeing ur videos U will make from the UK.
I lived for 4 years in Honolulu. (Now, everybody say, “Whoaaaa...”) and absolutely loved the weather there. I remember this American boy once made a comment that all the Asians dream of living in America. I turned to him and asked, tongue-in-cheek, “But have you been to Singapore?”
Im Singaporean, lived here endlessly and I love watching your videos and even so, it feels like home to hear you. Im just absolutely gutted you’re leaving Georgia. 😭😢... Thank you for your videos.. truly 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Wow I can’t believe I have been following up u for over 6 years!! I remember watching your videos when you still lived in the UK. Would love to see a video on why you’re moving back. I used to live in Florida (am originally from New Zealand) and found the sunny weather had an incredible impact on my wellbeing and mood, it was certainly a shock returning to rainy Auckland!
Thanks a lot for making us appreciate more of what we have... and yes, it hs been taken for granted. My friends from abroad just couldn't comprehend how I got back my lost wallet with all the cash intact each time (yes, twice or 3 times). Whatever your next endeavor, may the wind always be at your back and the sun warm upon your face...
I get what you mean about safety. I'm a guy but on my student exchange to Sheffield I was a tad bit more cautious about my surroundings. All the best with whatever plans you have next. Who knows what country you'll end up in in the future! Will definitely keep following your journey. God bless.
I know what you mean about being on your toes and feeling cautious about your safety. It daunted on me when I first travelled overseas that we Singaporeans take the safety and security we have for granted.
In terms of safety, I used to live in Shanghai and my female friend said that she goes on evening jogs without a worry in the world. That boggles my mind. Then I started strolling in the evenings and it's absolutely true. Old people were out and carefree.
I am an expat kid , I grew up and lived in Singapore from 9 - 21 years of age, barring one year in between. At the end of last year I graduated college and had to go to my home country India, and the Covid crisis began. It has just been such an unexpected turn of events, i however realised I am grateful for both countries, because that has given me one of the most important things ever and that is perspective. I appreciate my life in Sg when I compare and contrast it with my life in India, and I cherish my experiences In India cuz I never got them in SG. Yes the uprooting is REAL. But i have learnt to adapt and gained the confidence that I will thrive no matter where I am planted. Oscillating between these 2 countries is the life I have known and now maybe it’s time for me as the opportunity presents itself to step out and away from these places I call home, and its SCARY for me. I have to remind myself that I am a Daughter of the Earth 🌎 and good experiences, a community and opportunities will find me no matter where I go.
Yeah, as a woman it’s depressing that Singapore is the first place I’ve ever felt truly safe. Driving anxiety YES. SAD YES [buy a south European holiday home with you Singaporean money 😉] Aw, I really wish I’d come to say hi to you in Cold Storage now, but I was too shy!!
Thank you Georgia for all the great videos you have done, introducing the world to Singapore, and Singaporeans a taste of how foreigners living here view us. You come from the UK, with friends and family there, so realistically there is a always higher chance that you will move back home rather than settling here permanently. I’m sure it’s pretty much the same for any Singaporean living overseas now. So, don’t ever feel apologetic and all of us will wish you all the best when you eventually go back. Most important is the memories you have created and shared with us here. To us, you are pretty much a Singaporean already. Singapore will always welcome you back! We welcome anyone who share our love for this place we call home!
I love Sg’s weather! Having spent 4 years studying in London, Sg’s weather is what I miss most when I was there. Thank you for appreciating the little things about Singapore. I have followed your channel for quite a while now, and even though you have yet to leave our little country, I just want to wish you all the best back home and in all of your future endeavours. Cheers!
why? For westerners like yourselves, it is easier to gain respect and to get high pay while working in SG and you will blend in just fine. But for those who come from 3rd world countries to make money like me, I dont feel like getting blending in. The food is different, the culture is also different, the houses are so expensive, you pay so much just to have a tiny little space. Oh well, maybe some westerners are already sick of their big houses with big garden but we love big houses with big garden by the way. I just earn some money to support my family and some little more extra to start a career back home.
@@SynG4t3s i don;'t believe in white supremacy or whatsoever. It is asian mindset to think white people are way better so they are treated better and get paid better than other asian people in vietnam or singapore or South East Asia countries. Guess you are not asian , so it is hard for you to understand.
@@wisemanalpha100 I am 100% Singaporean. I have never understood the notion of whites getting treated better. I treat them and people of any other nationalities the same
@@SynG4t3s it is good that you do. But others dont do like you one lah. And that is reality. I been living in SG for more than 10 years. Long enough to conclude that.
Please don't leave! Singapore will miss you! So many Singaporeans haven't lived abroad and have no idea how good we have it here. I'm one of those people. 😅After living in the US for a few years I'm so glad for the convenience and safety here! I do prefer the hot/humid weather vs freezing cold winters. I lived in SoCal and the weather was perfect most of the year except in winter when it was 15 deg celcius (yea I'm a wimp when it comes to cold) and I wished for Singapore weather again. Would love to hear your reasons for leaving as well!
I love the warm weather here and though the humidity is uncomfortable, I prefer it to dry weather because my skin gets so dry and puffy in dry conditions. The humidity is great for the skin hahahah. And of course summer all year round means long days all year round.
Georgia, I can relate. We left Singapore at the end of April without having the chance to say goodbye to our friends and the city. Still hurts. Now we live in Barcelona... so so different. First month here and my phone got stolen while sitting in a park. These are the moments I miss the Asian bubble 🇸🇬 Wish you all the best and keep going with your lovely channel!
@@muhdyasirsadon59 haha i left it in kopi shop, ran back and the kopi uncle scold me for leaving it behind. Then the auntie also chided me for forgetting about it.
I have terrible driving anxiety, but no one around me even understands. they all bought cars and were zipping around happily in days, meanwhile I took my test 3 years ago and bought a car in august and still deep breathe every time I get in, not to mention I've still only driven really locally.

I don't usually write the comments, but this video made me do it:) My story is almost like yours. I moved to Singapore when i was 23 and staying here already for 5.5 years. I feel it, its damn difficult to leave SG and be back to Europe with cold weather, safety issues etc. Hopefully your transition will be smooth and you will be reunite with the family. Not sure when I am gonna be brave enough to be back from this "Asian bubble" Good luck 🤞
Also, I thought I would love the cold weather in Japan, but I absolutely hated it. I cried almost everyday and was angsty the whole time because of the weather and couldn't wait to come home to sunny Singapore haaaaaaaaaaa.
I'll definitely miss this place when we finally leave. Beautiful country and good people but it isn't home. Some stuff I'm pretty sure I'll never get used to. Got a long while to go though so I'll enjoy it while I can.
I am terrified of driving too. Hope you can get through it fine in the future. Been following you for a long long time and now started to go through all you video again. Wish you all the best ❤
7) the help - I hadn’t done laundry or cleaned bathrooms or mopped the floor the 23 years I lived in SG - the help so soooooo good!!! It’s god sent 💕sadly now I am my own domestic helper now I am home in Canada 😢
Personally I've noticed crime rate is increasing in UK since lockdown. There's just not enough people out and about to filter out the dodgy people. I'm actually been more on the radar and vigilant than ever before sigh it's actually exhausting.
100% agree. Singapore is very different from all the other countries. I enjoyed my life there. And even after leaving there for more than 7 years ago, I still contact (and occasionally see) at least 7 people I met there.
I am a Singaporean who has lived in the UK for a little over 6 years. I really agree that 3 things I miss so much in Singapore: (i) everything is just so convenient! And that is even though I live in London. (ii) Safety - I miss being able to go to Starbucks/McDonalds and using my bags to reserve a seat. This can never be done in the UK (and almost the whole of the world). Plus some parts of the country/city can just be so dodgy... (iii) HOT weather. I try as much as possible to come to Singapore over the New Year because cold weather is really really miserable. I certainly prefer 30 degrees with high humidity over 5 degree with a drizzle... All the best with your move back to the UK. While I wait for MOH to life the 14 day Stay-Home Notice!
I love the Singaporean weather, as long as you carry water. The tropical storms, which make for great gardens. Here in Perth we get upto 47°C, that makes you feel sick and feels like your skin is going to spontaneously combust. The Christmas's there are great too.
Damn, I’ve experienced 45deg Celsius temperature in Melbourne last Dec because of the heatwave and bushfires and that already felt like being in a hot convection oven 🥵
Yeap I have a permanent layer of dry skin on my cheeks thanks to being stubborn and not using any form of protection while standing on wave rock in temperatures above 40°C. The thing is we tropical animals somehow do not realise it is that hot, as the air is dryer. When our skin do not perspire as much, we think it is not that hot!
As a Singaporean myself, I would like to hear the reason why people would like to leave this country as I hope the government would look at your video and know what to improve on. Moving forward, sad that you have finalized your decision to leave this little red dot next year. Hope you do well in your future endeavours and remember to do vlogs when you are back for vacation. Cheers
I have been in Singapore for a week only last year for first time and I loved it so much and and I wanna go back again for a long trip ,maybe I will pursue for higher education and live there forever 😭
Yes, agreed with you. While some of my Indonesian friends are not happy living here, but not for me. I love living in Singapore. Grateful for everything here.
I'm Singaporean and I actually really love the warm weather. wish it was a little dryer, but i need the sun. Southern California's weather is my ideal.
I'm the opposite, hate the heat love the humidity, waking up with dry throats and nose it the worse. For some reason breathing dry air makes me feel like i have asthma.
Living in Singapore during 70s 80s used to be very comfortable. Everything was affordable. Average weather was 27C. Very seldom above 33C, then we would drink cold chin chow throughout the day.
Watched your channel and videos since you moved over to singapore. I can’t believe it has been so many years too! I’m going to miss watching your videos but here’s wishing you all the best when you move back to the UK. Singapore will always leave their doors open to you.
Hi Georgia, I watched your youtube channel before I came to Singapore. Even now in Singapore I still watch it. It is awesome! Hope we can do a collaboration someday.
Your videos have motivated me to go to Singapore so much after the Covid. The contents were always so interesting and fascinating to me. Even if you go back to the UK , I’ll always look forward to see your blog:)
2) the FOOD !!! Gosh - so much really good cuisine, my kids loved the hawker food and the wide array of int’l cuisine - so much that when we moved back to Toronto - they refused to eat out ! Yup- yours truly mom has to cook 2 meals a day for the family now !!! But whenever we visit and yes! I visit SG every year around CNY - my kids would want to eat out every day !!!
About crime in Singapore. The Singapore Police Force has this logo that goes like this "Low crime does not mean no crime". We still need to be vigilant still
Seriously Singapore is such an ideal place when it comes to safety and convenience and there are so many places to see and experience. I studied in Singapore for 3 years and it's almost been 3 years since I've been out of Singapore but I still miss the place so much. It's so chilled out there.
This was so heartfelt, thank you for a lovely video. I have a fear of driving as well... even with 3 kids and being in my early 30s I still cannot get myself to drive. Public transport where I live is pretty great too, so there really is no need. Best wishes to you with everyhing!
I'm born and bred Singaporean, and I think you're more acclimated to the weather here than I am. If I spend an hour outdoors I'll be covered in sweat. I can happily walk around in a t shirt and shorts down to the low 10s when I'm overseas. Ironically, I think it's because I've been spending too much time under strong indoor air conditioning. I had this realisation when I saw exchange students from Nordic countries wearing sweaters while indoors in Singapore.
I spent two years in Singapore from March 2018 to Feb 2020. I watched your videos for some orientation. I was also able to travel to many other countries nearby as well from Singapore like yourself. I have returned to Vancouver, Canada where Autumn is setting in. I find I am more appreciative of the seasons now. So thank you for all your videos over the years. I’m sure once you’ve gone back to the U.K Covid will pass and you will have the chance again to travel.
Hi Georgia, I already feel like you are one of us and now you are saying you about to leave Singapore. So sad to know that but I pray that you will be back here again. No matter what happen I will sure to follow your Vlog wherever you go that for sure support you all the way yes!!! And do please take care ok.
I live in the northeast of brazil (very similar weather to singapore, quite hot all year around and very humid) and after spending a month in the UK during winter i realized that cold weather is not all that I thought it would be. as much as the heat can be a little too much over here, the idea of waking up everyday and looking at grey skies and not being able to open the windows first thing in the morning (or at all for that matter) really got to me. The minute I got off the plane when I came back I was calling my friends and scheduling a beach day with them
5) the “convenience” - I lived around tg Rhu and walking distance to the gardens by the bay, Marina Bay Sands, the stadium, the East Coast park etc etc - despite the heat , I loved walking everywhere in SG , I would walk after dinner for 2-3 hours often crossing Benjamin shears bridge ( that was also my route to work - to Millenia tower) and it was so safe. Took my New York friends on such walk after 10 pm across gardens by the bay to Marina Bay Sands and back ax shears bridge and under the bridge - my friends were freaking out afraid of being “jumped by thugs” ... no such thing in SG ! I laughed at my American friends !🤪
I have never been to America but I have heard similar stories from Americans in Singapore. How nobody will go out after certain time, there are certain places to avoid after certain time. How Americans or New Yorkers will not go outside walking for no purposes, how nobody walk on the sideways except joggers. Everyone sit in their cars only. I didn't comment then to them, but it sounds to be like a very sad life where you have to actively plan with a purpose whenever you leave your house and you can't even explore your neighbourhood on feet.
As a singaporean myself, I for one am really proud at how our country manages this pandemic in general. People in singapore are mostly compliant when the government issues a law/instruction. It is also important to note that we rank number 1 in LITERALLY EVERYTHING, from healthcare to education to food to even businesses. It's no wonder foreigners from around the world love to visit our little red dot so much!
As much as I agree with the video your comment is too arrogant to leave uncommented. People are not complaining about new laws, because there is literally only one place where it is allowed to demonstrate. If you obey any little law you get extremely high fees. Therefore nobody wants to make anything from. Additionally you’re not rank number 1 at anything. Just look at the LGBTQ community. They are accepted, but now in a way they are in Europe. I agree, that Singapore is a great country, but do not beautify everything. Every country has their problems
I lived in Singapore for 17 years from my very early 20s and returned to Australia so I can definitely understand your predicament. When you go back home, you will have an initial elation to be home followed by a questioning of why you left and then you will go through a new phase of appreciating your own country again. I miss Singapore too but then personal circumstances make it increasingly unlikely that I could return for the foreseeable future outside of a holiday.
I recently got a new job which I needed to drive to after not driving for 10 years! Safe to say I needed a few test runs before I was confident enough to go out by myself but I promise you'll get there!! ♥️♥️
Been watching your vids for quite a while now, have always found your views and willingness to try out new things very refreshing. Just want to wish you all the best when you go back home! Will really miss you but will definitely still look forward to your content! (:

Me too, so grateful! You said it too well.
The only thing I don’t like Singapore is the weather. Too hot and humid. 😓😓😓
Agreed! My friend contract has been terminated, his whole family memders cried n beg to stay.
Cost of living. Government forces you to upgrade. That why I hate this country

Singaporeans: yes please...
Weather: NO MEANS NO
We need more trees in order to achieve that. NEA do u hear us. Haha

I can tell that you grew a lot too, from your old video from 5-6 years ago; the way you talk in front of camera has became so natural/mature and the past 1 year, you had made more videos than ever before; and you became prettier too staying in Singapore! haha
Good luck Georgia!
Thank you very much for your kind comments about our lovely country. I've lived in the UK too, and never realised how much I missed the sun and warmth until I lived in the UK. You are spot on about safety, so do take care!
Singapore gonna miss you ..
Gonna miss you back :(
We will welcome you to stay😁
@@GeorgiaCaney you are the defacto ambassador of Singapore ..you really are
I’m sure EVERY SINGAPOREAN wants 20-25 deg weather. I find the only “bad” thing about SG is that it’s HOT VERY HOT N STICKY.
We only have summer
the Uniqlo Micro Airism Shirts help alot for me! for your consideration!
Singapore is 1 degree north of the equator, so that's why it is hot and humid. We can't move Singapore away from the equator, so it's not Singapore's fault. 😁
Come over to Cameron Highlands its 8 hour drive away
Please continue to post when you are back home.
Regarding the bubble - sporeans really need to travel more so they get some perspective and stop complaining. So many people have this delusion that western cities have this magical super high standard of living beyond our imaginations and they literally have no idea what they have.
I agree... I've travelled only a bit and it makes me realise that there is no better place than home
So true. Only when you’ve lived abroad do you truly realise how lucky we are in Sg!
Yes, safety is one of the most amazing thing Singapore got & we wish u all the best w ur journey. Stay safe!
Wow abg wan, that’s simply crazy to be honest! That’s why we shouldn’t take things for granted when we have a good place stay in.
yup, years ago as a kid i went back to Philippines to visit my relatives, in the mall, a kid snatched my PSP but since i had the wrist loop, the psp was still attached to my wrist.
The things you talk about are normal in USA hahaha.
And Singaporean now say singapore healthcare is expensive. They even complain the cheapest transport fare in Singapore, coz they expect to pay zero.
You have been in Singapore too long if you refer to 25deg as “cool” lol!
Hi can i be ur frd?
@@Malwai769 lol
What will you miss the most when u leave singapore? I lived in Manila for three years and returned to Singapore and what I missed most of the philippines is the people...they are always so smiley...even when times are hard for them, I find their smiles incredible. I don't like the place because I think the govt needs to do more for their people there, but what I missed most are the people.
6:08 Very true! A kid could walk to get something from a shop at night and be just fine!
Hearing your thoughts made me feel so lucky! i take so many of the things you've mentioned for granted heh
I love the humidity in Singapore. No need to use Moisturiser when I am there. 😊👍
All the ladies look so young.
Im Singaporean, lived here endlessly and I love watching your videos and even so, it feels like home to hear you.
Im just absolutely gutted you’re leaving Georgia. 😭😢...
Thank you for your videos.. truly 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Anthony are you a singaporean Brazilian?
Wow I can’t believe I have been following up u for over 6 years!! I remember watching your videos when you still lived in the UK. Would love to see a video on why you’re moving back.
I used to live in Florida (am originally from New Zealand) and found the sunny weather had an incredible impact on my wellbeing and mood, it was certainly a shock returning to rainy Auckland!
Pls don't leave if you could help it. Your Vlogs has helped us rediscover Singapore and reminded us the many good things we have here.
God bless.
Thanks so much ☺️☺️
Yes, definitely interested to hear why you want to leave
You have a beautiful sparkling blue eyes and yes Singapore is famous for her safety, also greenery and cleanliness.
Cheers!
I'd love to see also the reasons why to leave
@@wisemanalpha100 nah its 2020, no more white supremacy anymore. i dont care if you're white or from vietnam, how you act dictates my opinion of you
@@SynG4t3s i don;'t believe in white supremacy or whatsoever.
PLSSS TAKE ME XD. i live in England and i hate it here :(
I am living in USA.
I love Singapore.
I hate living in USA.
I love the warm weather here and though the humidity is uncomfortable, I prefer it to dry weather because my skin gets so dry and puffy in dry conditions. The humidity is great for the skin hahahah. And of course summer all year round means long days all year round.
OMG same, I struggle with my dry skin and even though the humidity makes my hair go beserk I love the humidity for my skin.
Wow...sorry to hear that..were you mugged?
here in Singapore is so safe that u just put your laptop to reserve a place. No one gonna steal. As there are so many cctvs
Glad your stay here was wonderful. Its so true that the locals take our little island for granted.
even if it got stolen, police can help to track it down.

My story is almost like yours. I moved to Singapore when i was 23 and staying here already for 5.5 years.
I feel it, its damn difficult to leave SG and be back to Europe with cold weather, safety issues etc.
Hopefully your transition will be smooth and you will be reunite with the family. Not sure when I am gonna be brave enough to be back from this "Asian bubble"
Good luck 🤞
More like 'Singapore bubble' because it is unique
@@albertyip3646 Japan is ever better. But yes, "Asian" is why too broad. Even our neighbouring countries are not that safe!
Nicely done. I embrace the heat, just as I embrace the cold. Love Singapore.
It’s god sent 💕sadly now I am my own domestic helper now I am home in Canada 😢
landing in Heathrow after years of being in Singapore is a nightmare.. the cold is what first hits you and from then on is down hill
Personally I've noticed crime rate is increasing in UK since lockdown. There's just not enough people out and about to filter out the dodgy people. I'm actually been more on the radar and vigilant than ever before sigh it's actually exhausting.
Thank you for loving Singapore. You are such a sunshine! 😊
100% agree. Singapore is very different from all the other countries. I enjoyed my life there. And even after leaving there for more than 7 years ago, I still contact (and occasionally see) at least 7 people I met there.
"Stepping outside is like a warm hug." HAHA LUV DAT IMAGE.
I am a Singaporean who has lived in the UK for a little over 6 years. I really agree that 3 things I miss so much in Singapore:
(i) everything is just so convenient!
I cannot wait to work and live in Singapore as well
This green top suits you really well!
Yes, please do a video on reasons for leaving Singapore!
Honestly if Singapore was 29 degrees I would be super happy already!!!
Me just nodding throughout the video😆I feel like a proud mom
Look forward for your vlog in the UK :)
About crime in Singapore. The Singapore Police Force has this logo that goes like this
"Low crime does not mean no crime". We still need to be vigilant still
I have a driving fear too! I’ve driven and I just don’t like it. It gives me so much anxiety. You’re the first person I ever heard say that.
I'm glad you embraced our country and lifestyle so much.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the food... Affordable, delicious and the variety!
Seriously Singapore is such an ideal place when it comes to safety and convenience and there are so many places to see and experience.
I studied in Singapore for 3 years and it's almost been 3 years since I've been out of Singapore but I still miss the place so much. It's so chilled out there.
You look like a prettier version of Kirsten Dunst. Many Singaporeans really take what we have here for granted and mostly due to ignorance.
Always comes with very nice content... I just love your vlogs
Hi Georgia, hope you'll continue to make UA-cam videos when you're back in London. All the best!
warm all the way can't wait to move to Singapore this in August .
Hi Georgia,
I already feel like you are one of us and now you are saying you about to leave Singapore.
I've just followed you on Instagram! I am singaporean and we hope to see you here again in the near future!
Ahhhh so scary!!haha
I came to SG for 2 years and I’m about to hit 14 years.... I’m so ready to leave...but how?
I’m so sad to hear that you’re leaving but I’m sure it will not be a farewell but a ‘see you again’! Take care, Georgia! And keep bloomin’! 😘😊
I love to see your plans when you return back to UK!!
Been watching your vids for quite a while now, have always found your views and willingness to try out new things very refreshing. Just want to wish you all the best when you go back home! Will really miss you but will definitely still look forward to your content! (:
Your hair is so so nice here georgia!
