    Its beautiful. I wouldn't waste the gold leaf by putting it under the crystals though, it seems like it doesn't show up at all but its lovely around the edges.
    Also, could not we color the isomalt as its cooking so the entire crystal would be that color? Or is it better to paint it afterwards so you can create a more ombre effect?

    Beautiful cake! I am making this cake for a co worker’s birthday this month. Is your buttercream recipe very sweet? I have tried a few but they are way to sweet. I am looking for something sweet but not over sweet. Thanks!

      Hey there !
      I think you should try using italian or swiss meringue buttercream as they are comparatively less sweet than the american buttercream !
      Hope it helps !!

    Hey Liliana, do you use a damp or dry brush for gold leaf and what tweezers do you use. I just cant grt the hang of it

      dry bursh or else the foil will stick to your brush
