Its beautiful. I wouldn't waste the gold leaf by putting it under the crystals though, it seems like it doesn't show up at all but its lovely around the edges. Also, could not we color the isomalt as its cooking so the entire crystal would be that color? Or is it better to paint it afterwards so you can create a more ombre effect?

Hey there ! I think you should try using italian or swiss meringue buttercream as they are comparatively less sweet than the american buttercream ! Hope it helps !!

How difficult is it to clean the pan after you pour out the isomalt?
simply fill up with water and let it set for 30min -1 hour and the sugar will dissolve

Hey Liliana, do you use a damp or dry brush for gold leaf and what tweezers do you use. I just cant grt the hang of it
dry bursh or else the foil will stick to your brush
