    Dr. Fomuso has worked her way through the world of pharmaceuticals in retail pharmacies and in hospitals. She now serves the community of Dallas as a Pharmacy Manager. Dr. Fomuso is passionate about helping people to lead healthier lives through health education. She focuses on Public Health challenges that arise from the lack of patient knowledge about the impact that prescriptions have on their health.
    Dr. Fomuso's talk demonstrates why reading is fundamental especially with medications. Dr. Lusia Fomuso has worked her way through the world of pharmaceuticals in roles such as technician, intern, and pharmacy manager in retail pharmacies and in hospitals. She now serves the community of Dallas as a Pharmacist. Dr. Fomuso is passionate about helping people to lead healthier lives through health education. She focuses on Public Health challenges that arise from the lack of patient knowledge about the impact that prescriptions have on their health.     Interesting and very great presentation. I have worked in a pharmacy before and sometimes a lot of patient especially the elderly ones have so much medications that at times it’s hard for them to remember all medications they are talking. For they have like ten different meds. But I like how you mentioned at the end how they can have like a copy of it to go through, that’s excellent!

      I bet most of those meds are unnecessary. Christiane Northrup’s book, Goddesses Never Age, discusses this. She’s an MD, a board certified OB-GYN

    A great way to illustrate such valuable topic ...there are a lot of medication errors could’ve been prevented if we can put on more responsibility and attention. Decent presentation skills.
