About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

You guys are awesome! You are on the right track! What the schools are teaching kids today is how to solve their problems with revenge, and violence. The very thing the the schools do to the kids is the very same thing they don't want the kids to be or do. Schools don't want kids to be vengeful and violent. But to a kids mind punishment = revenge. Being Paddled by a teacher or the principle = solve your disagreements/problems with violence. I'm wondering how do you deal with religious parents who believe yoga and meditation is evil, from the devil?

Thank you for this video. I discovered the power of mindfulness myself a couple years ago and would love for it to be taught in every school! I'd like to add French subtitles to this video share it in France. Could you please turn on community contributions so I can do so? Thanks a lot!

Love this video and your movement! So beautiful and wonderful to see students connecting to the bigger picture and helping others do the same. I just found you all and will refer you to every group I know of in Baltimore that you could use your help. I have been spreading mind/body and spiritual education, counseling, connection, light and energy, in Rockville, MD to help make the universal light so much stronger and brighter. I didn't even know about your group as I've been teaching students, therapists, nurses, and clients the power of love, compassion, validation, mindfulness, living with ease, and within one's authentic-energy and space. Getting out of one's head and spending time in one's heart daily when deep breathing is definitely the answer to universal peace and oneness. Deep breathing slowly, becoming aware of our awareness within, gets people more mindfully connected to themselves, others and the bigger picture to help the greater good, right? Come visit me at Marilyn, AUTHENTICALLY U! on FB. I'm on your page too and totally inspired by your group!!

This shows that anybody can benefit from meditation. You do not have to be a buddhist. You will benefit even more if you learn vipassina meditation and philosophy behind.
