They say his mood affects the livelihood of all things in the forest, on good days the flowers seem to bloom more and the grass is greener. The fae's laughter like wind chimes carries through the forest, luring. 'Whispering from the forest,' they'll say. Do not follow it's melody, do not let it entice you. You know to stay clear of the forest when it looks dull, when the flowers do not bloom like they used to and when birds do not sing. 'The fae of the forest is upset on those days, do not disturb him.' The locals warn. Some speculate that the forest is split up into 4 areas; spring, summer, autumn, and winter. They say the forest used to have 3 fae residing in it; spring, autumn and winter. Before the newest addition of the forest arrived, and reclaimed most of it for himself. Thankfully, closer to the village. 'It was too cold anyway,' 'He seems to be a summer fae.' 'He is nicer then the original fae, he spares the children and excuses their lack of manners.' 'A lonely life he lives, in a forest by himself. He only wishes to play, but I warn you to stick to your manners and follow the rules.' 'He likes to name those he comes across, when he's feeling merciful. The nicknames he comes up with are rather fitting.' 'A fae is a fae, I don't trust him but he's not the worst.' 'The fae of the forest gives particularly young children flowers, promising of no need to repay. Aiding them back when they've lost their way.' 'I hear stories of what happened to the village on south end. He destroyed it, killing of everyone living in that place and overgrowing it with wildlife. He reclaimed the area as his forest.' 'He was looking for something.' 'You can hear him wail at night, carrying through the forest, sorrow in the wind.' 'He lost someone.' 'It wasn't the first time.' 'A fae hunter had visited, with promises of ridding the forest of the fae that reside there.' 'I heard he was building trust with the fae of the forest.' 'He was betrayed. Here’s my theory: Purpled was a fae hunter and in order to get close enough to Tommy to kill him he became friends with him. They ended up getting close and Tommy got attached. Then one day Purpled betrayed Tommy and tried to kill him as he was planning to do all along but Tommy ended up killing him instead. Tommy has always held that grief and betrayal in him which is reflected by the fact that the forest doesn’t flower as it used to. Tommy is possessive because he lost Purpled and doesn’t want to experience that grief again.
