Tanmay Bhat's weightloss journey has indeed been insightful and transformative. Wishing Tanmay and & Dr. Sid continued success in bringing awareness and positive change.🌟🎙
This is going to help some teens or young adults for sure ! I remember watching on Oprah about BDD (Body Dismorphic Disorder) when I was a teen, it is not an eating disorder directly. But it also a psychological issue, and when I saw it, I could relate to it completely, before that I didn't even know I was probably going through something similar. Those episodes helped heal on my own, before it could get worse. Great initiative! 😊
Thank you for sharing your personal journey! Discussions on social media can bring awareness to recognize and address these problems. We're happy to contribute to mental health conversations. ❤️❤️

Now that's a dedicated Paratha enthusiast! 😄While enjoying food is a wonderful experience, it's important to be mindful of our relationship with eating. Moderation is key, and it's crucial that it doesn't become a coping mechanism. ❤❤

Now that am listening to Dr. Sid i understood alot about myself too. It came into my life at right moment i feel. Needed this at this point. What are the odds am watching it while having my lunch. I became more aware.
I have come to realize that I am living with bulimia. I am in the normal weight category, and I enjoy food, but at times my weight falls into the overweight category. I am 28 years old and have never been obese. I take laxatives four days a week and practice Yoga and Meditation for 21 days a month without a break. For the past 5-6 years, I have been accustomed to checking my weight twice a day. I feel uneasy if I don't check my weight on a particular day, except when I am on vacation. I have never induced vomiting to lose weight. I am anemic, and it is extremely challenging to normalize my hemoglobin levels.
Eating disorders are relatable to a lot of people, it's essential to approach such topics with care. If there are specific aspects you'd like us to dive deeper into feel free to share. Thanks for being a part of the conversation! 🙌
This was a very useful video. Very educational. If possible could a similar episode be made about sleep and how sleeping is a coping mechanism or a way of avoiding trauma/stress and how to recognise it if and when it becomes a problem?
We're glad you found the video helpful! 😊 the connection between sleep and mental health is definitely something that's worth exploring. Thanks for sharing your thoughts & stay tuned for future episodes of decoding nutrition. ❤️
