- This is something I've been thinking a lot about lately, in my efforts to improve some of my fundamental drawing skills. Everyone goes through these periods of inspiration and frustration while learning.

Most great things in life never come easy and if they do it's a question if they cherish it. Your monolog at the end made me think of the song "carry on my wayward son" by kansas.
I don't know if that's the anthem I would choose lol. "There'll be peace when you are done."
With art there is no done. So you have to look for peace in the doing to keep going at a steady pace.
You have to give yourself permission to let go of quality (still something I'm working on in my personal work). That's when the real work happens.
I don't love the struggle- I'm not struggling. I'm just doing.
@@StylusRumble Hmmm well on second though the theme of that song is more on burden then development. I guess that analogy didn't have as much millage as I had though.

Animation takes a long time to learn, and a lot of patience to make. Creating anything is an accomplishment and you should be proud of the work you're putting in. :)
