I never liked Christopher. He was never good at dealing with the tough times, but this is the moment where he actually admits the truth to himself, even before Lorelai would. How he was worried he'd lose her if he didn't go for it, even though it was rushed. I'll give him that much.
It is amazing how little GG did not get any form of awards specially Lauren some people are very critical of Lorelai but you can't take away how good Lauren's acting and a lot of the cast are and yet they seem to be blocked when it comes to awards
Lorelai and Chris both rushed into getting married IMO because they may have thought they wouldn't have another chance to be together since something always happened to keep them apart.However maybe Lorelai realized that even though she loves Christopher she doesn't see a future of them growing old together.
It's true. Christopher vibes like a guy you date in high school and think back on with rose colored glasses but never really seen again after graduation. Which is what Christopher would have been if Rory hadn't come along.
It's crazzzyyy. I think the problem is Chris was self-sabotaging. Lorelai said it plenty of times, she was all in and they could have worked things out if Chris had wanted to. You can tell Lorelai was really sorry when she corrected "I'm sorry you feel that way" for "I'm sorry I made you feel that way", which shows she didn't mean it and she was willing to fix it however she could to make Chris feel comfortable and confident in their bond. It's so sad cua it seems Chris tried to fight against his demons for her but he gave up

Idk why she’s had such a hard time.
I disagree. Her parents where going to control her and raise rory in the awful conditions (like she was) so as a 16 year old and not wanting to get married i think she is strong and made a brave decision. She did the right thing
