    A classic race in MotoGP history, Grand Prix returns to Laguna Seca in 2005. Who was the winner on that occasion?

      Laguna is a tight and technical track and local knowledge certainly paid off. It took a few years before the Europeans figured out Laguna. In the meanwhile Nicky, Colin, and Casey (who raced at Laguna as a teenager) did very well.

    When MotoGP came to the states me and my buddy bought tickets immediately. Still remember him winning this race with me and my riding buddies from Boston, Seattle and Ohio there. My first time seeing the Pacific Ocean. Nicky winning this race was inspirational for all of us Americans that follow MotoGP. RIP Nicky.

    It doesn't matter about the quantity of wins. He was consistent, he was fast, he was determined and showed true American grit whilst under pressure. He did well on the Honda, and probably would have won a few more races had they given more time on a decent bike, but unfortunately, he is stuck on the Ducati.
    What are you on about?

    That just means he played his cards right til the end, no point winning 7 races if your main competitor wins 4 and lots of 2nd places, you get no title!!

    You don't win world championships by just finishing first, comming home second rather than pushing too hard and crash makes you a champion

    Nothing against Nicky because he's is in my top 3 favorite riders. But that has to be an empty victory, knowing he had way more track time at that track than Rossi, Biaggi, etc.

      Racers don’t give up places unless it’s a championship battle maybe. Colin Edwards beat him from start to finish.

    • @mArvAlcao71
      @mArvAlcao71 10 місяців тому

      It's more on Edwards having more experiences on the track (WSBK races in Laguna Seca when he competed in there). Some people like Rossi raed there for the 1st time.

    nick hayden is the luckiest rider ever!! He's won what 3-4 races in 10-11 years and 1 world championship (which he didn't deserve) but yet he's still racing in a factory team?? he should retire and stop taking a young guys hopes and dreams and give us all a break with his boring riding and face!!

  • @JakeN46
    @JakeN46 11 років тому

    hayden is the worst world champion in history, only won 3 races.
