Morris’ VA here deserves so much more praise! His voice acting is amazing! I wouldn’t be surprised if he auditioned for the role of a main Genshin character and got accepted.
The way they don’t portray wanting to kill Morris as a complete evil act really reminds me why i love hoyo’s writing. Even though I expected Chevreuse to not kill him, they still gave us a satisfactory reason for why she thinks that an ‘eye for an eye’ is bad, while also acknowledging that the two siblings weren’t completely acting irrationally, and in a sense were enacting their own sense of justice. Didn’t feel shoehorned in at all. Also obligatory yoimiya is adorable comment
Exactly, it's good that they don't impose any way of thinking on the story, they just tell it and each one has their own form of "justice" and the viewer draws their own conclusions about the subject.
After Chevreuse asks us what would have we said if we were in her shoes I completely went blank, never thought I would get a test of morality after such a scene haha, makes me wonder how many people picked "you made the right choice" or "I would have let her have revenge".
The cutscene quality has increased by a lot since Fontaine. It's like more poetic, more details and more refined.. It's funny because Genshin cutscene quality has always been good enough for it to be use as anime material, but now it just get a lot better.
Quests in Fountaine really hit differently. Freminet's event touches on depressions, loneliness and suicide. One of the world quest even speak about OCD and colour blindness.
If you are referring to the melusine that thing isn't actually color blindness but something worst in fact they see the world trhough the sight of a abyssal creature since they are born from of elynas in fact one of them confused a rifthound for a normal dog and a world destroyed by the abyss as a beautiful garden

This patch is the most American thing ever. Also can we talk about Cheveruse saying 'hell,' that's the closest thing to a swear word that we've gotten in Genshin.
I haven't played this event yet. The choreography Voice acting Lighting and place setting Facial expressions Story Are all went above expectations. The Genshin animation studio really are getting a lot better. I hope the direction of this kind of animation can keep this up or doing it even better.

Ayaka and Chevreuse are asked to play the lead roles for a short film called 'The Two Musketeers', and you see Ayato there as well. Both the Kamisatos were in Fontaine as part of a cultural exchange trip, and is actually the first time you see Chiori in the flesh!
What is with Fontaine and there being so many awesome cutscenes with so much badassery in them? The Navia-Clorinde one, the Wriothesley-Clorinde one, the one at the end of Navia's Story Quest, and now this one from the event! Hoyo does not miss when it comes to cutscenes in this game! They know how to tell their stories, especially in Fontaine.
I have been genuinely enjoying this event. A rare occurrence to me. The story is great. The setting of making a movie. The overlap between fiction and reality. And most importantly, Chevreus. Wow, I really love her character. Hoyo have been cooking delicious food for quite a while now. Sumeru and Fontaine have been quite a gaming experience to me.
Ngl, I was disappointed that she didn't shoot him, or that veronique didn't land her target. I was really hoping I was going to see a murderous justice. Oh well.

It felt so good to detective the shit out of who's the killer and the father lmao. Veronique seemed so sus when she knew too much of the guns. Morris being the father was just a hunch because the way he pulled the financial problem but wanted to be part of the two musketeers was also sus af.
I have noticed that genshin animations have gotten better Subtle things like expressions and tears or how they've been rotating models (Like from a corner and the character peaks out)
