***** I know but I think the Bye Bye Stevie bandwagon derailed the season. All the big games became "Gerrard's last game against....whoever." Last against Man Utd beaten. Last against Arsenal beaten. Last against Everton drew. Last at home beaten. Last at Wembley beaten. And last ever beaten. People say after the last few results he left at the right time but maybe after those stats Rodgers should have dropped him sooner or kept quiet about it. Will still be hard to replace for next season. (Can't believe we're keeping Balotelli!)
Yes, you're absolutely right about that. I don't think Stevie should have announced anything until much, much later. Maybe with three games to go or something. It's going to be an interesting summer. I see it's all Balotelli's side that is forcing the stay. FSG probably trying to figure out a way to cut him loose, but I guess Anfield is going to have some of the warmest benches around. At least, let's hope that's the case! Worst thing would be we flop again in the transfer window with regards to strike options. I'm still baffled totally that we sold our most prolific striker and replaced with Lambert. I've been firmly in the Rogers 'In' camp until very recently, and now I feel as though if he stays it could be ok, but also if Klopp comes in, I'll welcome with open arms! Something's got to change...
