- The Manitou 25 LX RFX Dual Engine is a high-performance triple-pontoon powered by a pair of outboard engines up to a combined 600 hp. Molded fiberglass bases for the seats and helm console give the boat a more finished look. She is luxuriously appointed and priced accordingly.

04:30 retractable tower doesn't crush windshield but does a JOB on the passenger seat.
That's what stopped it from hitting the windshield. lol
I think the power tower stopped because it crushed the top of the passenger seat...lol
That pontoon boat flys!
..it would sink just as easily.
Only birds fly silly
You should see the one that has twin 400R motors on it..
@@gaycha6589 yes lol. I have seen videos of these fast pontoon boats hitting a small wake and completely stuffing and sometimes starting to fly. Like literally lol
@@2jazzyjeffer it probably goes so fast!
Why wouldn’t you be able to trailer it with the power tower lowered?
The tower isn't locked down, it may get caught in the wind when trailering and flip up causing damage to the frame and boat
$193K for a pontoon boat. That is insane. What is going on in the boating world? They are becoming ridiculously priced.
I guess some crazy people are willing to shell out that kind of cash for a Pantoon boat otherwise they wouldn't be able to charge that much. Go figure??? When there are so many better boats one could buy for that kind of money, why would anyone choose an ugly Pantoon boat, I have no idea!!!... That's total mystery to me!!!
Cheap shit ain’t cool and cool shit ain’t cheap.
I agree. Too much money for too little boat. Eve though you have $65-70.000 with of motors it’s still overpriced.
It's a performance boat you want a boat that goes fast your paying for it and most boats at this speed cant hold as many people as this boat can not to mention if you in a shallow lake pontoons are perfect
Trucks cars and everything is going up in price nowadays
So as long as suckers...I mean people pay these prices corporations will continue raising them.
Great video testing!!!!!
Beautiful boat, but some of them welds on the toons are less than great....
wander what it would be like to seat on those plastic seats and flooring after a few hours under the summer sun......
How does it handle chop?
Excellent
there only one reason that I clicked this video
The flipping pontoon boat has 600 god damn HP
And the peasant version has a measly single 400. I wouldn't go for that.
thats still a lot
They have one that has twin 400R motors..
DID NO ONE SEE THE ALLIGATOR!!?? 1:59
Good eye
Looks like ducks
I was about to say
That was a anaconda dumb ass!
Two of them
I wonder how they decide to review the boats?
I love that pop up table in place of the changing room! Otherwise for me it’s too much boat! If I need all that I’d just buy a bigger speed boat!
I just bought a 2014 Monterey 224 fs bowrider equipped with a Volvo 5.7L 300hp motor and an SX drive turning a 21 pitch aluminum prop. Could someone give me an estimate of what my boat's open throttle speed would be? The boat weighs 3500lbs dry.
44mph
@@ChasePalmer Why do you think it's so slow? Others have said it's in the low 50's.
@@michaelpiller1513 same boat with a 26p prop does 49mph. Your 21p will have less top end speed.
@@ChasePalmer The one in the test video had a duo prop outdruve, which creates more drag than a single prop. Also, mine has a 300 hp motor, whereas the one in the test video only had 270. I'm expecting similar results.
@@michaelpiller1513 Can't trim much with aluminum prop...invest in stainless.
A 600hp "pontoon boat". Wow. Imagine if someone really hot-rodded this gem.
My buddy’s dad has one with twin 400s lol
Woven mat on the deck? That just makes it much harder to clean the deck. That tower makes it hard to fit a bimini top.
This boat clearly isn't for me.
62 MPH for $200K, such a deal.......you’re no longer the baller in this when SouthBay is sporting twin 450R.
Looks to me like that upholstery would be uncomfortable without a shirt on but especially if you were a bit sweaty.
I'd never pay $200k for a floating barge
Ok Karen
because you can't afford it 😂
600hp and it will ONLY do 60!
Lmfao!!!
pontoons arent the most aerodynamic in the water, and this one is pretty heavy as well.
@@THeSPARTEnMORTER21 a 6000lb boat with 600hp only doing 60mph is abysmal at best!
All the money these dumbass companies spend on making the top of their boat look fancy, but ZERO on improving the efficiency of the hulls in the water!
You would think, with Americans so focused on speed, that more companies would focus on getting their pontoons to go faster, farther, and with less power than the competitor.
Just look at the Bass Boat industry! SO much time and effort is spent on optimization of the hull to get more out of a tank of fuel!
Personally, I'll never buy a pontoon when a bowrider or cuddy can outrun it with 1/3rd the power! Oh, and they have a fucking bathroom and can do everything a pontoon can, just better.
@ yep, that is the word i was looking for.
I have 150hp that will do 68 with a 26p prop. I'd sell it for a whole lot less.
@@darcypenner215 you do NOT have a 150hp pontoon that will do 68mph!!! You MIGHT have one that will do 68kph, but certainly not mph.
There is everything that’s wrong afloat. Right there. Eeeeeeeewwww. I am embarrassed it exists. Not a fan of this class of ‘vessel’
Pontoons are for weekenders to take their families to the lake, they have their market I guess
Nice tour, ugly boat!
