- I got my Festival in a Box: Las Vegas 2024 in the first way of shipments! I was pretty excited to open this, some of these treatments are wild. No prices are included on this video as most of the Mystery Booster 2 (MB2) items have no items listed or sold yet. I have another box and am debating on opening it, let me know what you think!

Thanks! I agree about the old art/styles. After being away from the game for roughly 20 years I have really enjoyed the mystery booster products.

Ok, that was a great box. There was around 500+ bucks of value, so Id call it totally worth it. Although, a couple of the big hits like Hunting Cheetah are 60 bucks because they are P3K cards, so Im not sure what this printing might do to the prices. I must say, Im comparing these to the lowest CK listing (Where I live TCG doesnt ship) so of course the white border and future sight border treatments might change the maths, maybe for the better?
Yeah, I'm pretty happy at the moment. We'll see where prices head over the weekend. I think I'm definitely opening my other box at this point too.
I've watched a handful of these openings in anticipation of my own box. It seems that its common to see 1 foil per box. Sadly, some boxes have arrived with absolutely 0 foils.
The foils are definitely holding some MASSIVE value atm, with a a good portion of the normal future sight and white bordered cards having some decent value as well.
I even heard of someone getting 3 foils in a box, which seems absolutely wild!
@Lichbitz yeah. I saw a community post from NN's channel, and it seems Beezy got 2 in his box. I'm opening mine tomorrow when I get the time. 🤞

I just collect and hold forever, never sold any cards before. Ripping packs and collecting is my entertainment :)
Foils are average 1 per box so it makes sense to only get 1

I have 90% of these cards in original print. Also, if I wnat any of these cards, I’ll just buy the originals...

I got a beautiful foil natural order. Plus a bunch of stuff I wanted for my flubs edh deck! My collector packs sucked.

I think they'll sell these for the next year+ at every MagicCon so I'm leaning toward open.

I love these cards but I feel without a huge hit like a crypt or a mox it doesnt feel like its worth buying a mystery 2 booster box. The collectors packs them selfs will run over 100 bucks and the box itself is around 200 bucks. So Idk if you if you got these from the secret lair site then it was around 270 so maybe its worth it idk im torn.
I agree with you, without those I was really on the fence. I ultimately decided it was worth it for me but part of my calculus is that I'll sleeve these up to do a mini cube a few times. Maybe even combine two boxes.
And even though the SL for Vegas is sold out I think we'll a lot of these over the next year as they will likely include them in future MagicCon Festival boxes as well as have for draft and prize support at the events themselves.
Those are some cool cards. Love how the Promo Cards look. Now let’s hope you do better with Duskmourne Drafts tomorrow.
