Another argument to support the Moon splitting is that, we can compare the availability of records to other astronomical events. For example, the Halley's commet, which has been visiting Earth every 70 years, we find its earliest record in 240 BCE. If people were actually constantly looking at the sky like Apus claims, then why dont we have records of Halley's commet from Ancient Egypt or Ancient Greece? Of course people would have seen it, but they may not have written about it or written records would have been lost. So if the earliest records we have of a phenomenon that happens every 70 years is after 3000 years of human history, how can we expect multiple records of a short, once in history movement like the Splitting of thr Moon.

There were astronomers and they were in the right part of the world to observe this occurrence and they would have recorded their findings. There is a large amount of astronomical literature from just that period. Also, I specify astronomers because if there is anyone that would be awake during the night, then it is an astronomer. Also, astronomers would be looking at the sky anyway and they would be recording what they see. The fact that not a single piece of astronomical literature confirms the Islamic story is incredibly strong evidence that it is a fabrication. Study some history of astronomy. For example, the Halley's commet, which has been visiting Earth every 70 years, we find its earliest record in 240 BCE. If people were actually constantly looking at the sky like Apus claims, then why dont we have records of Halley's commet from Ancient Egypt or Ancient Greece? Of course people would have seen it, but they may not have written about it or written records would have been lost.
So if the earliest records we have of a phenomenon that happens every 70 years is after 3000 years of human history, how can we expect multiple records of a short, once in history movement like the Splitting of thr Moon.

There were astronomers and they were in the right part of the world to observe this occurrence and they would have recorded their findings. There is a large amount of astronomical literature from just that period. Also, I specify astronomers because if there is anyone that would be awake during the night, then it is an astronomer. Also, astronomers would be looking at the sky anyway and they would be recording what they see. The fact that not a single piece of astronomical literature confirms the Islamic story is incredibly strong evidence that it is a fabrication. Study some history of astronomy. You will see that what I am saying is true.

Forget observing the splitting of the moon in the 7th century and not being noticed across the globe. I didn’t see the crescent moon that marks the first day of the hijri months until I was over 30 years old.

@@daladono1145 It actually does not mean that. You believe the narrators to be trustworthy in large part due to their strong Iman, but that only makes sense if you think Islam is already true.
I don't think a single one of your narrators has any spiritual virtue, and therefore I wouldn't be surprised if your sources are riddled with liars upon liars, which, given that almost everyone in your traditions has been called a liar by at least one other person in your traditions, might be true.
So, unless someone can give me actual evidence that their claims are reliable, I'll continue to see those stories as made-up fables, because they would have had good reason to invent the stories.

Was the moon splitting for all ppl to see or was it just made to be seen for the ppl of Quraysh? Because we know human beings have free will, if Allah(swt) split the moon for all of mankind to see wouldn't that take away their free will? The crucifixion is not based on historical memory. That is why the Gospel writers used the Bible as a template, because they had no memory. The alleged crucifixion is NOT based on eyewitness sources, so the anonymous Gospels used the Old Testament to fabricate things. They forged the crucifixion account based on scripture.
None of the parallels to Psalm 22 in Mark’s crucifixion account are said to be fulfillments of scripture. What this suggests is that Mark was not trying to draw attention to Psalm 22 but was using it as a template upon which to construct his story of the cross. He had neither any earlier version to draw upon nor any memories from anyone who may have seen the crucifixion. Did anyone see it? Did it even happen? The other gospels appear stricter or looser rewrites of Mark’s version. Where they add to it, most of the new material also seems to be derived from scripture, not memory.
The narrative of Jesus on the cross is surprisingly brief. Even more surprising is that virtually every bit of that narrative seems to have come not from eyewitness memory, even indirectly, but rather from scripture exegesis. The crucifixion account of Mark, the basis for all the others, is simply a tacit rewrite of Psalm 22, with a few other texts thrown in. Nothing at all is said of this or that happening in order to fulfill Scripture. John will add a bit of that, but Mark and the others conspicuously neglect to draw attention to the scriptural basis of the story. Nor should it be imagined that Psalm 22 is a prophecy of Jesus’ death or of anything else. It is quite clearly what is called an Individual Lament Psalm, a song sung by or on behalf of someone in extremity who feels himself forsaken by God, he knows not why, but still has faith and appeals to the Almighty to rescue him now.

Jesus' first followers knew almost nothing whatsoever about the details of his crucifixion, death, or burial. What are we to make of this very strange circumstance, that no memory of the central saving event of the Christian religion survived, that when someone first ventured to tell the story of the crucifixion of the Savior, the only building blocks available for the task were various Scripture texts?
Keep in mind God already promised to save the Messiah in Psalm 20:6. Plus, the Gospels say ALL the disciples forsook him and fled (Mk. 14:50), meaning they didn't witness the crucifixion for themselves.

2. Not dying on the cross doesn’t lead to a curse
3. Jesus wasn’t accursed in the first place, because he never died!
4. The Disciples (according to NT) NEVER taught that Jesus became a curse
5. This means the Disciples didn’t believe that Jesus died on the cross (going back to point 1)
