Thank you Pastor Jackson for speaking such a profound truth, namely, that you won’t understand the New Testament if you don’t study the old. Jesus was a rabbi, and all Rabbi‘s teach Torah. In fact, the word Torah does not mean law the way it is translated in our New Testament it actually means instruction. Think of the Torah, the first five books of the OT, as God’s little instruction book. You will be much better off when you understand that God‘s ways supersede man’s way Ways. God said the Sabbath is the seventh day, Saturday, not the first day which is Sunday. It’s OK to work on Sunday because it is not the Sabbath. God established what foods were clean, that are good for us and will not harm our bodies. That food does not include pork. While there is an injunction in the New Testament that gentile believers don’t have to eat this way, don’t you think that if it’s good enough for God’s covenanted people, it’s good enough for gentile believers?! God‘s ways are always better than man’s ways.
(John 5, v. 14), Jesus said, "STOP sinning or something worse may happen to you.”
(1 Cor. 15, v. 34), "Awake to righteousness, and do NOT sin; for some do NOT have the KNOWLEDGE of God. I speak this to your shame."
(Heb. 10, v. 26), "If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the KNOWLEDGE of the truth, NO sacrifice for sins is left,"
CAN & DOES ANYONE STOP SINNING?
(1 John 3, v. 6&9), Living in Jesus! "No one who LIVES IN HIM keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or KNOWN HIM him. No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they can NOT go on sinning, because they have been born of God."
SOME PROFESSING BELIEVERS NEVER STOP SINNING,...
BUT THEY WANT YOUR MONEY!
(2 Peter 2, v. 14), "With eyes full of adultery, they NEVER STOP SINNING; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed-an accursed brood!"
Most are ignorant of godliness, holiness and the POWER of Jesus' Spirit.
(Rom. 8, v. 7), "Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is NOT subject to the law of God, NOR indeed can be."
(1 Cor. 2, V. 14), "But the natural man does NOT receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
HOW SIN MANIFESTS
(James 1, V. 15), "When LUST has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death."
YOU WILL NOT SIN IF...
(Galatians 5, V. 16), "Walk in the SPIRIT, and you shall NOT fulfil the LUST of the flesh."
(Rom. 6, v. 12), "Therefore do NOT let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires."
Jesus said, sin no more. (John 5, V. 14)
John said, sin not. (1 John 2, V. 1)
Paul said, sin no more. (1 Cor. 15, V. 34)
Satan says, 'you will sin'.
BEWARE OF FALSE TEACHERS AND FALSE BELIEVERS
(1 John 3, V. 7-8), "Little children, let NO ONE deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil."
(1 John 3, V. 10), "In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does NOT practice righteousness is NOT of God,"
I need guidance because I am so done with evangelical Christians
When Jesus went to the synagogue to speak he wasn't there to talk about what was going on behind your bedroom door , he wasn't there to talk about their taxes or their politics.
He was there to talk about their salvation.
That was it. I'm so grieved that they don't have eye's to see or ears to hear .
That is what the church needs to focus on. Not your bedroom , not your taxes or politics but start taking care of telling people that they have a sin debt. DUE upon death.
How are you going to pay that debt.
Then let the Holy Spirit do his job. Then ask God what can I do for you this new day dawning. Then seek God's face in their thoughts , word's and actions.
Then ask God to create in you the man or woman you were created to be.
Why is that so hard 🤔💭 hmmmmm

When are people going to realize that their thoughts control their destiny.
If you seek God's face in your thoughts first you are not going to draw close to God.
Your thoughts control your words and actions.
If your thoughts don't glorify the Lord neither will your words or actions.
I have come to the place in my life that beyond any other desire I want to be the " WOMAN" God created me to be.
To seek God's face is a thought first. What do you think about every morning upon waking and what were your last thought before falling asleep.
When I am struggling and don't know what to pray for I always put the book of Psalms on and I listen to it upon waking and falling asleep. I always find that my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ God's only begotten Son has never forsaken me nor has he abandoned me in my time of grief .
Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and then door's will be opened and you will live a blessed life.
We may not always agree with the leadership of Our great nation yet the one thing I admire about Joe Biden and Jill Biden is they love their son Hunter Biden unconditionally.
They support their children unconditionally.
Even when their own children turned away from their faith and went the way of the world the Bidens have stuck by their side unconditionally.
When Hunter Biden finally realized the error of his ways he took full responsibility and is now suffering the consequences of his actions.
That is the kind of parents we need.
I always wonder about these politicians who are upset with the direction our democracy is heading
When they were younger and they made a mistake did their parents just throw them out into the cold cruel world and said resolve this problem on your own I'm done with you and this is the angry adult they have become 💭🤔
They are a failed family. They lie , cheat and steal from all of us without remorse. They do not even attempt to obey the word of our Lord. I will pray for them because that is what we are called to do. I hope they ALL repent and come back to the Lord. But their actions are NOT at all admirable by any means.
Pastor you keep using words I don't think these words mean what you think they mean.
Like decimate. It means to reduce by 10%.
The word you're looking for is annihilate. That means to destroy or demolish.
Overlook is not accurate either.
The WORD matters.
I am not better than you Pastor far worse.
But maybe you should ask Jesus if what you're saying and the terms you're using are true and accurate. The ugly one doesn't need your help. The poor and broken hearted need you to speak GOD's words accurately to us. I need to hear clearly from GOD. Jesus is using you to speak to me. Please be more careful with your word choices so GOD will use them to pull me out of my sin.
