I've been using the same model professionally for years and all that I can say is that it's the best trimmer I have ever used. Combination of weight, power and ergonomics is unbeatable..
I was concerned about the power for as small and light compared to other brush cutters I have owned. After my 1st 1\4 mile trail I realized this is a great unit.
I hope so, I clean around 2 1/2 acres here all summer and I'm getting older so I wanted something lighter but heavy duty. I wanted to give it a go tomorrow but the heat index will be 105 so my butt is staying in the house 😁 it might take me a while to get used to being strapped to it lol.
I own this beast and I can say without a shadow or a doubt it's the best brushcutter on the market. It's light and powerful as hell. I run a small landscaping business and had a professional 3HP Stihl brushcutter, used it couple of times and sold it. Although much more powerful then this 1,3 HP machine it was heavy as hell and the Husqvarna's combination of power and weight coupled with incredible quality made it the one and only brushcutter for me. Also I love these bicycle handle trimmers much more then O handle ones. Although O handle you can use without the harness and it's better for slopes, there's no substitute for a bicycle handle trimmer for long hour jobs. If your working for 3-4 hours your back and your arms are gonna appreciate you bought the RX instead of the RJ model.
How many minutes will the tank last? Will 6500 revolutions on the shaft be enough, since the updated version of Mark 2 already has 8200? is the t35 head durable compared to stihl heads?
It’s def light but felt it struggled a bit. The cheap plastic handle grips were annoying just tried it today. Returned it. Looking at a beefier echo. Loved how light it was for sure but I felt it was weak. Just needed a little more pep

You can spin that throttle grip around. Whoever assembled it might have put it on backwards accidentally
Lol. I thought it didn't look right.
Just looking at it you can see its the wrong way round. Something in the water over there 🙄
It’s wrong the round way 🤣

Thanks for the review. I think the throttle grip is reversed (for a lefty). It should just spin around for more comfortable control.
Thanks!

the throttle lever turned incorrectly
Americans :D
lol, this dude....
Ever check that creek for gold?😊
Can you loosen that throttle handle and turn it around?
I am not sure. I never tried it but I bet you could.
Do you know how to open up the top piece for a spark plug change?
Ya it just pops out may need a little pry with a flat top screw driver
Are u still happy with the 525 trimmer?
Heck ya. It is a great Ballance of weight and power.
Is it underpowered?
Not for it's weight. I would say power is great considering that it is less then 30cc.
