@@SanLeMans ZA servers are sad anyways, there only exists Gold Nova 4 or lower, and then Straight to supreme and Global. If you happen to be MG1/MG2/MGE immigrant you'll be stuck there forever cse they ping pong you between easy nova games and speedrun losing supreme/global games. I once got DMG after grinding for 5 weeks 4+ hours a day. And I could only keep it for 5 days or so before the higher rank games became more frequent and I wasn't yet ready to fight such high level. Edit: In the very rare case there happens to be an MG player it is because they are the noob friends or girlfriends of the supreme/globals. So you'll see a 5 stack where 2 people doing high 20 kills and their noob dead weights are doing low 10 kills. And the team with the 3 smurfs will be on the enemy team everytime giving you the losing hand.
For people that are confused with the keybinds: Jeff plays with arrow keys Also, the amount of bullshit is the reason i stay with CS. What are you supposed to do when a jett or raze just fly into a site with their ult, or even judge? Unless you have an awp and hit them or one tap them, you're fucked
if they have raze and ult, don't play predictable corners on site and start spraying the moment people start flying in the air. raze/jett is literally the most predictable composition in the game, and they should only be able to kill you once every 7 or so rounds with ultimate
There's nothing left for you to do other than question your own existence lol. What do you do when 5 players pounce on you with 1 is flying 3 are using reckon arrows and one is transmitting your live location to 4 others lmao.
I just love Valorant, there are many jokes with the gunplay, and sometimes its true, but as someone with several thousand hours in cs i can see the gunplay there is also meh from time to time (run and gun in cs is also a joke when ur close / mid range) but i just love the tactical play of valorant, how you have to adopt where to stand in defence in case enemies go full utility push, and see who has ultimates and generally just play around your teams agents vs. enemy teams agents. Its so fun

Tbh I didn't played hero shooter(not that I know that many) but to me valorant feels disconnecting, you leave the game for few months; new agents(with new abilities), maps(can't queue for specific map to learn then faster), patches and various other changes in the game. To me it feels like R6 all over again I joined the game late and you have so many things you don't know about.... while it isn't a valid comparison but feelings do align, I do like valorant but get bored of it fast, faster than csgo. While in csgo every time I go back things don't change that much all you have to do is regain that muscle memory(not easy though), but the custom sever: retakes, casuals, DM server feels better than what valorant has to offer. Its just that csgo is more easy to return to compared to valorant(not sure about upper elo in valo cuzz I didn't played ranked all that much; given that I am a solo player :( at least in valorant )
Very valid point, they're making the same mistakes as R6 : adding content and complexity without any way to control the amount of complexity. Adding the ability to choose maps would go a long way in either of those two games
This game seems to suffer the same problem like League or R6S. Abundance of characters with unique skills you need to learn one by one to understand what even is going on. The longer it'll be out the harder it'll be to balance and to get into. Even just watching this gameplay was confusing as hell. Weird stuff flies through screen, each having weird effects on gameplay... I don't think I'm ever going to play it.
The abilities themselves are very simple to understand, I know it might look confusing but if you play it you will get used to them. A lot of abilities also do the same thing (molly, smoke, flash, double damage, stun etc)
I totally agree with you man. I felt the exact same way about it. I played it at launch, stopped for a few months, and only 3 new characters came out. I had no idea what was going on the first week I got back into it. And that's coming from someone who understood the game previously.
To be fair most of the clips complaining ability spam are the fault of jeff's team for not baiting util and simply rushing in hoping they other team also has zero gamesense
But it's a really hard learning curve, and incredibly frustrating as a new player when the only thing you can think about is how you always encounter just enough "spam" to fuck you

Too much bullshit which u cannot counter one way or another, 99% of gameplay as defense is to just hold angles because angles are waaaay too obvious and are supporting more defensive playstyle. Gunplay is another case where any CS:GO player can be in high elo without even training or knowing the guns, so literally meh.

R6S at least started mostly grounded so you could understand and figure out how what works and how to counter it, but nowadays like third of it is already weird sci-fi shit that only confuses me every time I try to get back into the game. Valorant isn't even trying to make sense from what I see and it all looks like straight up magic. Green gloob that eats through defences and blinds people? Arrows flying through walls, giving wallhack? Fucking invisibility? When I first saw it in WarOwl's video it looked sane, A little weird but sane. Now it looks like learning hundreds of weird effects is going to be dominant part of the game and when the game will stay for longer, people learn it better, tryhards will emerge, it will be pain to play and especially, to get into.

Don't use buff It doesn't allow you half the time to play csgo cuz of third part software and uses more pc power than csgo itself, the missions barely work and don't track properly. It changes csgo setting as well.
It gives you a lot more possibilities. More ways to outplay your opponent, and more ways for you to read your opponents moves. If it's not for you, it's not for you.

I think the drones, "wallhack" abilities etc. take away a lot from the mental aspect of the game, having gamesense, knowing timings. R6 is doing it the right way by putting the gimmicks in the starting phase. Valorant feels like it tries to do everything at once but can't do one thing perfectly.
