I would’ve kept the conservatory but cleaned it up. I have a screened in gazebo and it’s amazing. No bugs. Outdoor naps. Wonderful meals. Some lamps, a few plants and comfortable furniture would have been amazing. What a missed opportunity.
The color palette is gorgeous. I wish they mentioned what paint colors they used.
It seems a shame to me having an outdoor space like this with not a single bit of grass and green. It should not even be called garden...
Going forward they can add plants and potted plants. Very glad they chose in floor heating. Now that they are viewing garden, sure they will spruce it up.
I think if they use oversized pots and planter boxes it will look lovely.
If money was of no issue then I would knock down walls as well. Would also swap the kitchen and diner around, so that there would be space for diner and living area next to the conservatory. Although they have double doors, I would like them larger, and it would be possible to invite the warmth from the conservatory. Would keep the conservatory of course and renovate it a bit, and maybe make another area to sit and have a tea or coffee summers night.

I’m not a fan of conservatories. It’s mostly wasted space. Especially with today’s modern living, I prefer having an indoor-outdoor connection. I thought what they did was brilliant.
Anybody know what accent the female homeowner has? I’m super curious about it. My best guess is a Spanish speaker who learned English from the Irish.
At 7:12 she says her family is Spanish.
@@L.Spencer I heard that, I’ve just never heard a Spanish accent that sounds quite like that. Probably because I’m from Texas, lol.
I'm spanish, & you're 100% right , as she doesn't have a Spanish accent; It sounds more like French to me tho.
In some regions in northern Spain learning French is a more popular choice than English, or at least it used to be...

I love watching these, but I wonder if they ever meet up with homeowners who do NOT want their home "flooded with light." They say that on every episode, I think. "Now X room is FLOODED WITH LIGHT!" I don't want my place flooded with light. That's exhausting.
