Stay with the FP springs and put a taller tire on the car. From a handling standpoint (performance) FP (from what I understand) is a superior spring.

No matter which you choose to do, the one which makes you happiest is the best decision! Nice ride!

Hey Ricky. I agree with not feeling the gap in the wheel wells. If you like the ride quality, just swap out the tires. You can always sell the low mileage tires you take off the car! Thanks for the update! Best Regards! 😎😎🐍🐍🐍

What up RJ. So because this isn't your daily I would lower it to the 1 finger mark how you like it. Go for it. I wanna lower my car also but springs aren't in my budget right now.

Hey Ricky. I liked the way the car looked when you had it lower. I would sacrifice a little ride quality for the looks but that’s just me

Well done bro. Don't waste your money on coilovers or performance suspensions from manufacturer. Always buy eibach pro kit and if your struts and shock absorbers worn out then also just fresh sets and that's all you need. That's what I need with all my cars and not issues. Well done bro

I kinda understand where you coming from. The eibach springs did give it a better drop. With all the suspension mods you did it probably will ride good with the eibach springs. Good luck with whatever direction you go with.

So your issue with Eibach is the fact that they are too bumpy or bouncy? I had Eibachs on several cars and it always seem like the car loses road feel. I don't mind a stiff ride - but I don't want it bouncy (under sprung). I am thinking about Eibach because I hate the fender gap. I have BMR and love the spring rates - but it only lowered the car .40 inch and that's a joke!

The eibach springs where too bouncy for me.

@@bannerrj41 that’s been an issue with them I think. They make them too soft. Stiff I don’t mind, but bouncy I dislike. Why can’t they make a performance spring than actually drops the car like Eibach that has decent spring rates?

Bro I agree..I love the ride height but they ride like crap after they break in..im like you I don’t mind the stiff ride but bouncy I can’t do..that’s a major reason why I wanted to sell the car. I couldn’t find a spring that will lower the car the right way.

@@bannerrj41 yeah, it’s hit and miss. I have a magnetic ride controller that would probably help considerably- but I may just go with Steeda Ultimate. I have BMR now - they are only .50 rated for a Performance Package 2 and GT3350, but Steeda is about the same. They said maybe .60 when it settles. I wouldn’t be mad if it settled .80. These cars just sit too high stock. The wheel to fender ratio is off.
When I had a non-magnetic ride GT, Steeda Linear extreme was perfect. Don’t let linear throw you off. Most OEM springs are linear. It’s the shock tuning that really comes into play. I prefer linear any day of the week.

Do you bro. I personally think it looks fine level but I never been a big lowered guy myself. It’s all personal preference and you are the one that has to be happy with the look. Sweet ride man and congrats on the payoff 👍🏼

i'd add in "ease of use" on the "pro/con list"..ground clearance has to be an issue.the "FP SPRINGS" were "taylor made" for the magna-ride equipped cars....but you gotta like the look also..it's gonna be a monster either way...popcorn standing by for the nitto's!

What PSI are you running with the wider tires? I am running the same setup, just curious

Keep the FP springs and get 20” wheels and tires then call it a day!

I chose the Eibachs because to me such a small drop is basically like a placebo effect… And I don’t track the car super often neither am I some competitive driver so the look of the Eibschs wins it for me.
