The MTF Transsexual Post-Op Vagina: One Year Later

- This video "celebrates" my vagina turning one year old! Not really a celebration, but I talk about my recent follow-up appointment with my surgeon (Dr. McGinn), some lingering tightness that is affecting depth (and the subsequent course of action to address that), and what (if anything) I'd get out of a revision.
I also discuss the results of my first breast augmentation (boob implants) consultation and how that will work with insurance (my plan covers it).
I appreciate that a one year post op trans woman is still posting on her channel. I can see where there is a temptation to say "I am finished documenting my journey and so good-bye UA-camrs", and leave us with wondering how our friend we have come to know and love is living life after completing such a difficult journey. I truly don’t mean to say this but, you kinda seemed resigned like not as happy as I’d expect you to be. I’d have hoped being post op would have been the cherry on top, why does it seem ah least to me that you’re not quite happy, are you happy ?
Danielle, Thanks for this follow up video. It is very interesting when compared to your first, rather distressed, post-op video.
I had my implants first. Dr. McGinn went with the 500CCs (I'm 5'9'' and 180lb). Since I'm only on HRT for 2 years, she expects a little more natural growth, as they take up to 5 years to do their own thing. They dropped a full inch in the first month, and may drop another inch in the next six months or so. Can't wait for that first bathing suit!
I saw her on this past Tuesday, for another consult (eyes). Did you know her dog bites? Ouch! (No broken skin and my fault)
Heather is due in March, if that means anything to you...

Do you have to use those devices and dilate every single day for the rest of your life? Or does your body eventually accept the depth and "hold"?

Does it help to do something before the srs like trying to increase depth or gurth with extra medical means. .supplements, or pumps? I have been on HRT for 40 plus months and have noticed what I perceive to be a 'shrinkage" in my size? I know that you are not a medical professional and am only asking your opinion?

Its very interesting to watch your videos. I can tell it takes a lot for you to discuss your personal existence. I hope that your experience continues to prove validating, even when things are at their most challenging. I take away a lot of inspiration from you, even though that's not your intention, and I think that youre rather admirable. I encourage you, even at its most painful, to keep putting in your 110% because the journey is only worthwhile whe we apply the effort. Look back onto your accomplishments and celebrate them, using them to help bolster you through present obstacles.

As proactive as you've been researching & following up on doctors, insurance, and a company to meet your needs. I'm surprised you're not following the doctor's orders.
