Yay!! Finally a review using the original formula of the Dior face and body foundation! I’ve been on the fence since I love the original formula! I’m super excited to see how you like it ☺️💜 I’ve only watched reviews of the new formula and I’m so happy you are using both so I can decide if I’m going to buy this new formula
Thank you. Yes, I really wanted to do a side by side comparison since I still had the original. I usually don’t. Again, this wasn’t a holy grail, but definitely was a favorite. I think when anyone’s holy grail is reformulated, the likelihood of liking the new one more is pretty low. But for me, I think it’s great. I wore it last night on a rare night out and it lasted all night.
This is why you should always blend a foundation with the neck area, although the colour is clearly a few shades too dark, the problem is the lack of blending, leaving an obvious contrast (same with the hairline), if the colour is not exact. Otherwise, you could get away with that shade with good blending and looks like a nice finish.
Hi Shannon! Thank you so much for your review. I did not try the original. But I’ll try the new version for sure. It’s so hard to pick a color. Swatches always helps a lot!
Dior took the alcohol out of the new formula. It was like the 3rd ingredient in the older formula. That’s probably why that one felt dryer. I’m so glad they took it out. You can make great lightweight products without loading them with alcohol.
That’s good to know. I don’t pretend to know much about ingredients. I’m trying to educate myself, but I’m still not that knowledgeable and don’t want to pretend to be. I’m sure a lot of people are happy it doesn’t have the alcohol. Thank you for sharing!
Hello from Los Angeles 👋🏼😊🌴 I think the new formulation looks better on you. I had the original version, it looked & felt drying, as you mentioned. Even in pictures, I thought it looked very dull. I had the shade 2N and it was slightly too dark & peachy on me. The old formula did work great in the summer heat but my face definitely looked parched. Looking forward to trying the new version & a half shade lighter. Thanks for your thorough review. 🌺💄
9:44 🚨He better make it to the NHL if he’s waking you up to be at hockey practice by 8! You look stunning btw. I’m totally getting it now. I’ll be like shade 000000N those look so dark to me. I’m faaaaaair.

It does look really beautiful on you!! I’m going to purchase the new formula! Great video and very informative and helpful ☺️
Thank you! Glad it was helpful! I wore the new one again last night and again, it wore beautifully.

I’ve continued to wear it and really like the new formula. I hope you feel the same and thank you for watching

You look at least 10 years younger 😲👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰
Thank you. That is very sweet. The lighting definitely helps on camera. But I really try.

LOL. You are too funny!
This shade is good when I have a spray tan. It’s too dark for me at the moment. But Dior seems to have a good shade range
I think you're more of a 1 or 1.5 lol
More like a 2. The ones are too light
They are ALL way too dark for you as well as too warm toned, what are you thinking with these shades?! 😂
The new ones were gifted by the brand, I didn’t choose. I also used the original one when I am spray tanned, so it was a good match.
