Great review. At the moment (June 2024) it's $20 cheaper to order the gauge and fence separately ($128 + $117 = $245) versus the combination ($265), the reason being the two pieces are in a USA warehouse and the combo is in Canada. Granted the combo has free shipping but it's only $3 shipping for the two pieces. Strange but true 😝
It has come down in price . When I bought mine it was over $300. I am still glad I got it. It would have been an easier decision at today's price.
Where did you find the combo in Canada?
I have that Miter Gauge, but not the fence. HongDui tools are definitely of outstanding quality. They only recently released that fence, and it wasn't an option when I got the gauge.
I have a pretty nice fence for it though. That HongDui is definitely nicer, but for $150 I'll stick with the one I have.
Yeah, I had only paid $160 for my last miter gauge and fence. It wasn't that good. I figured if I was going to get another one, I wanted to get the best.

I’m sure it’s a very good tool but I’m surprised it costs as much as it does as it’s made in China.
Woodpeckers and Incra are a few of the big US tool makers. Dewalt, Bosch, Skil, Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi, Craftsman, and Flex are just some of the brands I know are made in China. Most tools made in the last 20 years were made in China. China has some of the most advanced manufacturing in the world. We are just used to paying more if the tool has an American sounding name. If a company wants the cheapest, they can do that too. They don't have the regulations that we do. Hongdui only makes high-quality tools. Everyone I have gotten has blown me away with the quality. That quality comes with a price. Check them out. You might be surprised by some of their tools.

Milwaukee tools are made in China and they are quite expensive. Just because something is made in China does not mean it is going to be cheap: good materials are not inexpensive. If you want quality tools you have to pay for them.
There's somethings one don't want to be cheap on, a miter gauge is one.....279 ain't bad for that in my mind, was just in my shop goin I need a new miter gauge, thanks for upload I'm prolly guna get it ..
I paid more for this than my first table saw. Back then it would not have done me any good. I paid $160 for my Rockler miter gauge and it is no where close to the quality of this one. The biggest thing for me is the micro adjust. Being able to move the stop a couple of thousands without having to unlock it is huge. I hate trying to move a stop and going to far or not enough.
It looks like on the 18th, if you buy them seperate they will be around $257. I knew they were getting ready for their spring sale. That is why I was trying to get all my videos on Banggood tools out this week.

The only thing I would wish for would be an interchangeable mitre slot slider as all of these quality pieces are made for, I suppose, the majority sized slots - well my table saw is an odd ball and, despite being relatively new, has a stupid narrow slot that only the supplied mitre gauge will fit… 🤷🏼♂️

I’ve never been dissatisfied in any Hongdui woodworking tool. They are a premier tool manufacturer in the world and at a very highly competitive price point.
It is not a well-known brand here in the US, but every tool I have gotten from them has beeb the highest quality possible.
Sorry my friend you missed understand look I don’t expect you answer is I make comments about things people should in you tube you video is nice I live in London I don’t have friends to talk to and expend my time making comments for things I like things I don’t like especially for wood work because I’m carpenter since I was in college and because I born in Colombia and I m British now I want to settle one day I like to listen to you explain everything so nice and accurate easy to understand is like face to face conversation some people is boring to listen to but you is like when I was in college listen to my teacher thanks from the bottom of my heart that is all right 🙏🙏
