Cousy, Maravich etc. ALWAYS had their hands ON TOP of the ball, never took more than 2 steps and never "hesitated" (which is just a way for the NBA to allow double dribbling and walking).
a carry is only under the ball. players put their hands on the side of the ball. thats not a carry. letting it spin in your palm is not a CARRY. hesistating and taking 2 steps is not a travel, the dribble is live. u can take as many steps if the dirbble is live
