Regular check-ups are recommended for those cute Cavies because they’re known to have heart problems.

Number 5 -- One way to ease up the separation is to have two such dogs so they always have a companion and company. So even if you do need to be away for longer than expected that have company, another to socialize with and be with and not feel alone. Of course the long term impact of this may be when one goes into the vet for something (like a teeth cleaning or overnight stay for some issue), the other will show signs of that separation and they will need more care and attention during that period. And if (or when) one of the two does pass, the other will become very depressed to the point of not eating even if you shower attention on them. They are extremely social animals and form strong bonds.

Cuidado con lo de tener dos perros. Yo tuve en mi casa una cavalier king y una maltesa : no peleaban pero nunca se aguantaron , de quedarse solas una se metia en una camara y la otra en una habitacion diferente.
