A wider shot would be appreciated to see footwork and more body movement, camera is too close 😬

Terrible camera angle. Camera person needs to move back alot more as you cant even see the whole person, weight transfer, footwork etc

He's right though. The camera person doesn't seem to know where to stand and that really spoils the video @@daqueenbobo

Thanks for uploading but any chance you could zoom out a bit with the next video? It's hard to see the movement, sequence of moves etc

So cool! I love seeing women coaches and players. So much of tennis youtube becomes a boy club. So nice to see other women be technical, knowledgable and confident

Also love the student. She seems to be driven and dedicated. In my experience so many times female tennis players are not taken as seriously by coaches because of stereotypes of us being unserious and superficial.

The camera man is too close to the players. He needs to stand further back when filming.

Maybe getting to close to the ball perhaps.Needs to swing out and up. Good work both of you!

Check the racquet face after forehand contact. The side of the racquet that contacted the ball is facing the sky. Nothing wrong with this, all beginners do this. But if the student believes that she is brushing the ball, she should be corrected. She is only tapping the bottom of the ball and "lifting" the ball over the net. As many people commented, because of the poor camera angle we could not see where the ball landed on the other side. But I can imagine a majority of them sailed long. A good correction technique for this would be use a tool like top spin pro, top spin solution or eye coach. I am not affiliated with any of these. All these tools do the same thing, namely teach how to brush the ball to create topspin. The player cannot hit the underside of the ball in these tools, because they will hit the handle holding the ball if they do.
