Thank you so much for this HONEST account of your childbirth, without glossing or skipping over the bad parts!!! I've never had kids, but I never really get the full disclosure like this. And I learned, you know, it's ok to be scared.
What a woman. Despite the pain and discomfort you’re going through, you still step up and be a positive influence to your baby boy. He is beautiful, and I wish you the best in your (not so) new journey
After each child i had (3) i was having the same feelings! The doctor saw 'mild' prolapse in my bladder, uterus and rectum but it literally felt like my insides were falling out and like you, i felt like i had to sit and lay down often. Luckily i had been going to a pelvic floor physiotherapist and she was able to help me afterwards each time. No surgery needed! The internal physiotherapy isn't the most comfortable thing in the world but that's how they know you are engaging your pelvic floor correctly and can help release the internal pressure. Hope you can get the help you need to feel better momma!
Right!! I’m glad that she shared everything! It makes me look forward to have an idea when I give birth! Right now I’m overdue, I was due May 18, 2 days ago, and still haven’t got contractions, waiting at home excited to see my baby for the first time!
I had almost the exact same birth story except my son came 1 month early. My water broke because for some reason the sac tore, but I wasnt dilated enough for a long time so they had to give me pitocin to get me to start heavily contracting and dilate. Man it makes your contractions really hurt. after giving birth I found when I had pressure down there that one of those post partum maternity belts helped me. My insides felt all loose after giving birth so it felt like gravity was pulling all my organs out (like my uterus...Kind of where the bladder is) which created that pressure especially around 3 months. After using that belt I started to feel better around 6 months. I was lucky though that I only tore up to the muscle and not the muscle itself, but not so lucky as I somehow had broken my tailbone while pushing so hard on the birthing table. Hurt to sit for a long time. Had to go to message therapy to break down the scar tissue.
As a labor and delivery RN, im so shocked to hear you say they made you wait until 6 cm to get the epidural!! I have patients who are cramping and at 1 cm get the epidural! I'm glad everything worked out well in the end for you (minus the whole pressure in your bottom feeling. i hope PT works for you!) 😊 He's so darn cute!
Awe...it takes TWO YEARS!! to fully and truely recover from carrying and having a baby. Take your time sweetie❤️ and just let recovery happen at its pace.
Hi! Promise! I love to see your videos and stories. I’m pregnant, but I’m overdue, I was supposed to be in labor Wednesday May 18, and I still not feeling contractions. I appreciate all the information about your experience with your birth; it makes me look forward to mine and be prepared for anything like that. Looking forward to see my baby for the first time too! :)
@@findingmeaning1241 Hi! I gave birth May 22, four days after my due date! It was 9 hours of labor, since I started my contractions every 2 minutes at home, and the I went to the hospital. It was a little bit traumatic for me because I didn’t know it was going to cause that much pain during labor. They gave me Demerol, but still felt every pain of the contractions and by then it was too late to put me the epidural because I was like 8cm dilated. I also had an episiotomy and was very uncomfortable when I had to walk and sit too. Right now I am recovered. The only thing I’m dealing with is the breastfeeding, that is also painful and frustrating. Im not making a lot of milk, so I had to combine it with formula. My girl was 7.14lb and 20” long. 🥰
Omgoodness, he is such a cutie! Congratulations!!! I am due December 10th and it's my first so I am kind of nervous but very excited. I really appreciate these kinds of videos because they help me prepare better.
I had my second baby in December at 35 week emergency c-section. Here, they have a different process: we can take the épidurale at any point of dilatation, they don’t put anything in the urethra even if you have an epidural and they have bily blanket so we can hold the baby ♥️ my second was in the Nicu for 3 weeks and we could hold her with the bily. So glad you are all ok ♥️
So happy you’re making videos again ❤️ I was genuinely worried when you hadn’t posted in so long.. Even checked your channel a few times. I hope you feel better and your son is beyond adorable!! 🙏🏻😍

Yay, I’m so happy you’re back. He is precious. Did the doctor do an ultrasound? That doesn’t sound normal. I hope they find out what’s going on down there soon. Keep us updated! ❤️
Aweeeeeeee! I just love him! So adorable!!!!! I’m glad you shared your story. So many women go through it and provides good feedback to others. Blessings!
Hi! I have a 1 year 3 month old baby. Also had a lot of pressure for a while. GynecologisTS (yes, multiple) said everything was OK. However, I'm in a study about birth complications, and the gynocologist there did different pelvic scans and said I had a slight prolapse of the back wall of the vagina. So I guess not all gynos see things the same way. Also: hypopressive training helps pull things back up into the body and strengthen the connective tissues - it's not talked about enough, although it has helped sooo many women!
@@dope2111 Sounds like it might be the front wall that's rhe issue for you, yes, from what you said about the bladder issues :/ I think it was very weird going from lots of scans, doctors visits, tests, to... almost no help after I gave birth. Kegels strengthen some tissues, but they aren't really that effective when it comes to lifting all of the organs (hence hypopressive training - lot of free videos of it on UA-cam). Things usually become better over time, but training really is necessary. One woman where I live said she was constantly peeing herself, and the type of training helped her so much that she has no issues any more :) Hope you can find someone soon who takes these issues seriously.
Awwwww how exciting Promise! You’re an awesome mommy. I’m so sorry that you had to go through that. Your UA-cam family loves and supports you! I wish and hope that you are able to feel better. ❤️ Love you!!!
Congrats on the child~! I'm sorry the birth was so difficult and I hope you have a speedy recovery ✨️💖🌈 tell the kiddo (is his name spelled Cairo or is it different?) we all said hi back!💖💖💖
