- Transformers 2007 Autobots Arrival To Earth Scene (4K).
Transformers is a 2007 American science fiction action film based on the toy line of the same name created by Hasbro. The film, which combines computer animation with live-action filming, was directed by Michael Bay, with Steven Spielberg serving as executive producer. It was produced by Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto, and is the first installment in the live-action Transformers film series. The film stars Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky, a teenager who gets caught up in a war between the heroic Autobots and the villainous Decepticons, two factions of alien robots who can disguise themselves by transforming into everyday machinery, primarily vehicles. The Autobots intend to use the AllSpark, the object that created their robotic race, to rebuild their home planet Cybertron and end the war, while the Decepticons have the intention of using it to build an army by giving life to the machines of Earth. Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Anthony Anderson, Megan Fox, Rachael Taylor, John Turturro, and Jon Voight also star, while voice actors Peter Cullen and Hugo Weaving voice Optimus Prime and Megatron respectively.

Looks better than most movie nowadays.
Literally true, you could say that its even better then most movies today apart from recent transformers movies and pacific rim, im still really confused on how they did it tho, absolutely stunning and beautiful.
Michael Bay movies always have good visual effects. Say what you want about him as a write or director, he knows how to use CGI really well.
@@alexdoublell7804 He also knew when not to use it. Dude had his faults but he knew his special effects. I still can't believe some of the stuff they pulled off in this movie.

One of the most anticipated, and iconic cinematic scenes to millions who grew up during the inception of the Transformers. To see them come to life was absolutely incredible. I’ll never forget seeing it in the theater for the first time. And second. And third. And the countless times at home
I've been in love with transformers since the first time I saw it as a kid, but I didn't get the chance to see the first one in theatres. I am just now realizing that this really was the first live action transformers film, the first time EVER that transformers were on the big screen. I can't imagine how mind blowing it must have been to experience it back in 2007.
@@esai_fit It was Incredible. My intention is not to brag but I was lucky enough to see it in theaters for the first time and to this day the CGI still blows my mind.
Yeah! Imagine not knowing yet that the giant hulki in front of you would protect you even if it meant he becomes scrap metal.
Hell yes I was 29 wen I saw this and screaming wen I heard the first chh chh chh chh at the beginning and all the hot scenes
This scene sequence was a trendsetter for almost a decade. This might look average for newer generations but this kind of CGI integration and complexity was so unique at that time. And along with Steve Jablonsky's score, makes this scene so iconic.
The CGI holds up, I cant tell a difference from modern CGI. If you showed this to somebody who has no idea on what a transformer is, they’d likely think it’s more recent.
Fact. I remember before the movie's release seeing a tech magazine in an airport book shop boasting how this movie's graphics were going to be insane, citing this scene with pictures from the movie. So looking for that upon it's release, I remember being blown away and agreeing with the article.
The Transformers CGI are still on the top of the bucket. Specially The Last Knight who five years after still got the best CGI ever released yet
Remember Devastator from the second movie? That Decepticon had so much CGI that the computer rendering him to live ended literally burning out.
I don't think it looks average in the least. Not then or now. The sequels gave us more characters, more action, were more elaborate...but I don't think a single thing in this one looks even a tiny bit less advanced than any of the later ones..
I was 30 when this came out. Actually felt tears in my eyes with this music. It conveyed the heroism and nobility of the Autobots perfectly.
I literally cried, I m from 1977
Same here. I was 31. I’m so glad to have seen it on the big screen.
I was 7 when this came out
Wait you are now 46?

3:48 My God... this scene still give me goosebumps. What a piece of music! Masterpiece!
100 PERCENT in agreement! That part comes together very well.
For me its more like 4:07 but thats still really good
The autobots' entrance was probably one of THE BEST entrances ever. Great music, great transformations its just everything about it. And the way optimus drove through the smoke is just amazing
I literally cried, I m from 1977
Steve Jablonski really underrated
The fact that one of the most heavily armed Autobots unironically starts quoting Eastwood, fucking priceless.
"Excuse me, are you the tooth fairy?" That's honestly one of my favorite moments in transformers. So hilariously wholesome.

I gotta agree there. And Bay's choice to grab the take where the kid almost stumbled was the only right one!
The movie wasn’t perfect, the franchise wasn’t perfect but this scene was perfect. The soundtrack, the visuals, each autobot’s choice of vehicle to represent their character, the first words each of them spoke to define their personalities, this scene is unbelievable.
The movie was perfect tho

The moment the audience in my theater (filled with Transformers fans) saw that truck, we cheered. We cheered even more when Optimus talked and we recognised the voice to be Peter Cullen.
I will forever be jealous of those who got to see this for the very first time in theatres and got to be amid all the fandom reactions 😂

Even MORE weird...the piece of music played in Kill Bill in that tunnel is FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE. Maybe that's why Transformers did it..

Aside from the fact that this entire moment is badass and iconic, for some reason the part where one of the Autobots runs from where he landed and looks back cautiously (2:20) added unspoken momentum to the whole arrival.
I'm pretty sure that one was Optimus. If you look where he is when he scans the truck. It had to be either Jazz or Optimus because it's clear where Ironhide and Ratchet landed. I think it was Jazz that landed in the stadium so...I'm going with it being Optimus who turns and runs. The scene is edited funny because Sam and Mikaela go from finding his protoform to being taken to the alley and it's all set up a little weird but the editing makes it flow well so I don't think about those things much lol..

This is perhaps my favourite scene in any media I’ve watched, anywhere. Besides the corny Ratchet joke, it’s almost flawless. The music, the cinematography, and optimus’ first transformation just make it perfect
the joke was still funny for his character
The humour was great in this film. It was funnier than most so called comedies.
This movie still lives up to being one of my Top 5 movies of all time. Revenge of the Sith, Iron Man, The Amazing Spider-Man and Spider-Man No Way Home definitely sit as being some of my favourite movies. I got a bigger passion for movies and could name even more i love just as much as the 5 listed, transformers included, but these 5 movies have left an impact on my life growing up, especially the first Amazing Spider-Man along with No Way Home. Hopefully Andrew Garfield gets another chance at The Amazing Spider-Man 3, and hoping that Shia and Mark come together to do one final Transformers movie by Michael Bay, with Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron, Barricade and the maker from The Last Knight. And we need Simmons from Sector 7, which to this day I still haven’t heard of it
Yeah, I hope so too.
Kind of terrible that out of all the Transformers in this video, only Optimus and Bumblebee are alive.
Rip you all will never be forgotten
I mean, optimus is strong and bumble bee just won't stay still
Jazz than Ironhide than Ratchet
Megatron too
IRONHIDE DIDN'T DESERVE TO DIE THE DEATH HE DID IN DoTM
There will never be another voice actor like Peter Cullen, because right from the start, everyone knew that he would be perfect for the voice of Optimus
Let's agree on one of the best movie scenes of the 2000s. 16 years later the CGI is one of the best next to movies like Pirates of the Caribbean (Davy Jones) the music gives such an awesome atmosphere. that the scene is immediately recognizable.
I love how Prime and Ratchet are trying to be serious then Jazz just goes
"WUSS CRACKIN LITTLE BITCHES"
I remember me and my best friend going to see this opening night. When Optimus starting to transform I, with even thinking, started clapping....and so did everyone else in the theater!! It was like your childhood coming to life!!
This was a beautiful scene. This movie was unmatched in 2007, such ashamed we couldn’t get the same feeling again from any movie
I grew up with the 80's cartoon and I loved it so much. You have no Idea what this scene and this movie does to me every time I watch it.
Such a beautifully arresting scene. I love the emotional depth and power of the score - the way it inspires excitement, awe, and even hope as these powerful alien robots crash down, yet manage not to harm anyone before seamlessly adopting their vehicle forms. And it’s even more epic that Sam and Mikaela first witness the Autobots’ arrival at the exact same site another robot first showed up in 1984 before brutalizing (to put it mildly) three punks - it’s like nothing compares to seeing the arrival of robotic organisms at Griffith Observatory Park firsthand. Some of the best cinematography out there!
2020 still it's a badass theme❤️❤️
One of my favorite scenes of all time in Movie History.
This was the first film I remember seeing in theaters. I was 6 and this was honestly a defining moment of my life.
What I love about this scene is… all of it.
Humanity is about to find out that it’s not alone in the universe after all. The bad news is that their new neighbors are an alien race of robots that have been fighting a civil war for millions of years, and half of whom want humanity dead or subjugated. Human governments, being a step ahead of the curve, are realizing that they do NOT have the means to effectively fight these robots.
Enter, then, the other alien robots, who don’t want to kill humanity. The score is epic and awesome, as befits the guys who are coming in to save the day.
And then Optimus Prime transforms. He has just reshaped his entire body, so his first transformation is not quick and hard, but slow and sure; Optimus is making certain that every part on his body is going where it needs to, before slowly kneeling down so as not to intimidate Sam and Mikaela so much. He then asks for Sam by name, in contrast to Barricade (the police car Decepticon from earlier) who only knew Sam’s eBay username. Optimus even seems to sag in relief when Sam confirms that he is the man they’re looking for.
One of the most awesome scenes ever! I loved the animated Transformers series but this movie was absolutely amazing!

If you still get goose bumps from this scene you are a big kid like i am. Our childhood will live forever.
You can totally tell Steven Spielberg was more hands on with this movie than the other TF sequels that he executive produced. This feels more like a scene in one of his movies than a Michael Bay movie. The excitement, wonder, and awe are everywhere here, and I appreciate every second of it.
Still the best scene of the franchise and one of the most epic scenes of any sci-fi ever.
The special effects have aged well, almost 20 years later, and it still looks incredible.
I like how they actually look like ALIEN robots and not just some cardboard boxes put together.
Yeah,G1 is F*CKING overrated
Of course this the score makes this scene much more exhilarating but just imagine how scary it must've been for Sam and Mikaela. They must've been shitting bricks with all the Autobots transforming in front of them even if they may have been on their side. Just because extraterrestrial organisms may appear friendly, you can never know their true intentions.
Transformers is one of my favorite fandoms. I remember when my younger sibling got a small LEGO Optimus Prime figure (I think it was LEGO I'm not sure) and that's when I grew curious about it. I didn't know what it was at first I just knew about "Optimus Prime". To me, he was just a big robot that could stand up like a human haha. I think the toy or LEGO or whatever gave you the option to build him as his truck look, or his autobot look. And then one day, this movie, Transformers (2007) was on TV and it was just my other sibling and me at home. We were searching for something to watch for the night and this movie just so happened to pop up on the Guide. I sorta recognized the truck - the blue and the fire design. The second after he transformed, I was like "wait a minute" haha, and when he said his name in this scene, I looked to my sibling and we both had wide eyes and we were like "OPTIMUS! OMG THAT'S OPTIMUS PRIME". I have to say Optimus Prime will always be my #1 favorite autobot EVER. Because he's sort of the reason how I discussed the Transformers fandom. And I never knew they were around for a very long time (like with the old animated tv shows and stuff).
That's cool! I wish I had watched this in the theatres. My first Transformers toy was Optimus Prime, but from the Animated show, not the old one.
Before I got the toy, I watched the show a little bit, and had a little memory of the show, but I didn't understand or knew much about it.
But when I got the toy, I remembered that it was from a show where robots transformed into vehicles or something.
I was happy!!
Then, after some time, I don't know how long, I think the person who gifted me the figure called for something, I'm not sure if it was just for the film, but he said that the film was going to be airing on television that night.
That was the first time I watched the film.
I don't have proper memory of this, but I remember how I got interested in these films.
And I'm so happy for that.
I have watched the first two or three films almost a hundred or more times, always switched it on whenever it was airing.
I have been gifted a lot of Transformers toys (But I still want an Optimus Prime figure from the live action films 😅)
Sadly, I haven't watched any of them in a theatre.
But I'll try to watch the next one in a theatre.
I was expecting a scene like this when the maximals were introduced in rise of the beasts, I have never been so disappointed in my life
Love the autobots especially Optimus he’s really good!
At 3:54 when you listen to just the song when you get to this part of the song am I the only who just hears ratchet's siren in the back
Everyone hears but just focused on the song
Without even realizing it, I’ll come back to this scene just to hear that beyond iconic line, “My name is Optimus Prime.”
I know there are countless versions of Optimus with different voices, but Peter Cullen’s can’t be topped, or at the very least, it’ll be hard to top it. I feel lucky to have grown up with the original voices for Optimus and Megatron, to have gotten invested in the franchise with their voices, and to know they’re in/close to their 80’s makes me fear the day they go. I have no doubt in my mind it’ll sting just as hard as the loss of a beloved, something I’ve never truly experienced as of this comment.
Ik it’s a mood killing thing for me to say, but I always like to listen to it and get emotional, it’s such a powerful yet soothing voice. That paired with such an epic transformation that has cinematography and visuals far beyond its time makes this an absolute gem of cinema, and an easily rewatchable clip that gets me emotional almost all the time.
