@@tmac731 The second film (Revenge of the Fallen) is, no joke, the worst film I've ever seen. To see something I've loved since childhood (I was born in 1981) reduced to fart jokes and _every_ Human sans Mikaela being the "comic relief", broke me. I had my head in my hands almost the entire film. I keep hearing how the forest fight was epic, but I'd already checked out by then. Movie Optimus Prime is horrific, and Peter Cullen should frankly be ashamed for taking part. Bumblebee is unbelievably annoying. Michael Bay didn't give two shits about Transformers: his focus was the US military. You'd see long, sweeping, loving shots of tanks and planes... and an out-of-focus robot in the background. The entire film series is an insult to Transformers, and it hurts me no end that it's a "necessary evil" for the resurgence of the franchise. My only solace is kids who were introduced to TF through these films went on to look into _proper_ Transformers material, like the cartoons and comics. If your interest is only in the films, then... well, fair enough. But _please_ broaden your TF horizons, because the live-action series is a travesty. Trust me.

@andrewshouse9840 it's sad, because in the classical music world, music from movies and games is often thought off as inferior, when it can be just as good, if not better
Makes me remember my childhood days roleplaying as the Autobots. We even named ourselves as the Autobots while playing COD during the weekends. We even competed who gets to be named Optimus Prime (unfortunately it wasn't me). I was named Ratchet instead, but I was ok with it since his name sounded so cool. Every start of a game, our Optimus would always say the iconic line, "Autobots, roll out!" And that would always hype us up. I miss those days and I really wish we could go back and play together for one more time.
"With the All Spark gone, we cannot return life to our planet. And fate has yielded its reward: a new world to call home. For me, this song, with its beautiful melody, smells a perfume of hope, brings a feeling of joy, and that one day, happiness will be real. And the planet earth will be happy, with all living beings, which have already been extinct , and love will be solid in the hearts of the just, and they will be bathed in the light that shines from God. This is what this song gives me.

Trust me.

So one morning I saw that there was a meteor shower that was going to happen that night so I set up my hammock with some comfy blankets and pillows, put on my headphones with this song on a loop and pretended that each meteor passing by was an autobot arriving to Earth 💕 I have never felt so happy that I actually cried at the beauty of the stars and meteors with this amazing soundtrack blasting away on full volume with no light pollution at all
Okay, that is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing that. I'm gonna see if I can do the same someday now. Normally, I play the Halo soundtrack, but this seems more fitting. You really know how to use your time on this Earth well, my friend! 'Till all are one!

I think this was the song that set me on the path of pure respect for people who make the soundtracks for game and movies, because DAMN.
Yeah brother
So many tracks rarely appreciated outside their signature scenes. They aren't all John Williams, but there are some classics out there. Like when we first see the Enteprise in Star Trek The Motion Picture or Superman's theme.
@andrewshouse9840 it's sad, because in the classical music world, music from movies and games is often thought off as inferior, when it can be just as good, if not better
This song is literally the definition of “More than meets the eye”
Makes me remember my childhood days roleplaying as the Autobots. We even named ourselves as the Autobots while playing COD during the weekends. We even competed who gets to be named Optimus Prime (unfortunately it wasn't me). I was named Ratchet instead, but I was ok with it since his name sounded so cool. Every start of a game, our Optimus would always say the iconic line, "Autobots, roll out!" And that would always hype us up. I miss those days and I really wish we could go back and play together for one more time.
I played this song on my Camaro's stereo, and it is now Bumblebee

We live among its people now, hiding in plain sight, but watching over them in secret, waiting, protecting. I have witnessed their capacity for courage, and though we are worlds apart, like us, there's more to them than meets the eye."
"I, am Optimus Prime. And I send this message to any surviving Autobots taking refuge among the stars. We are here. We are waiting."

Epic orchestral movie scores like this is what makes movies/games so successful. The really early movies had more of a traditional orchestra. Star Wars started the epic era, and it has only gotten better since. This is what makes successful movies, blockbuster hits. Music always evokes emotions, no matter what.
