It would be larger than the unabridged Encyclopedia Britannica. Seriously, if there's a box on the life check list that he hasn't checked, it's because he found it too mundane.
MV's humility is so incredible to see/hear, considering what an unmitigated badass he is. Men like him are why America's military remains unrivalled after all these years. Thanks for your service, Sergeant Major... what a fantastic interview.
This man's humility is the only attribute that surpasses his accomplishments. God put this man on Earth to make things go boom, and he was born for the job. Thank you, Mike for doing all the interviews you do.
Respectfully, it is absolutely hilarious how unassuming Mike Vinning looks, especially based on that picture that makes him loon like a stereotypical 80’s movie dad that works a corporate job he hates, while he’s probably one of the deadliest individuals to have ever lived
I'm 20 years retired Chief Warrant Officer and rarely have I come across a man like this. I've been around some very smart/intelligent people over my career. 40/50 years later and the recollection along with the finer deatils of his experiences is incredible and shows the level of brain power required to operate at that level. Much respect for this man.
Thank you for the comment and insightful observation, Chief! My time with Mike was absolutely incredible. I had the opportunity to spend about a day and a half with Mike. The entire time, he was sharing detailed memories with just an outstanding amount of humility. A humble warrior and true Patriot, a believer in others, is how I would describe Mike. If you’d ever want to share your experiences over the 20 years, or life post-military, I’d enjoy having you on the show, Chief. No worries if it’s not your style, thank you again for your comment!
@@TheBlueFalconPodcast my experiences in the military are not something to be shared publicly. Was lucky enough to see behind the curtain early. It was not a good thing to see at a low rank as it negatively affected how i looked at things throughout my career.
I was Marine Corps infantry and It’s absolutely amazing when he’s talking about taking fire in the left side of the helicopter decades earlier. I can’t even remember half of what we did in Afghanistan let alone whether something was on my left or right. Really awe inspiring to see someone with all of the tools so to speak and yet walks with so much humility. Doesn’t try to come off as a tough guy or look what I did attitude.
I agree. Command Sergeant Major Vining should author a memoir of his invaluable experience as a professional soldier/warrior athlete and the lessons it has taught him. My hat is off to this gentleman. Thank you for your service. 🇺🇸 🦅
You’re very welcome! The Channel has been taking off the past month, thanks to everyone for the support and watching the episodes. Please share with others if you think of it, that really makes a difference and I’d love to keep getting more amazing interviews with Mike and other legends (some known, some unknown). Much love y’all!
@@TheBlueFalconPodcast ......"takeaways"....? wow? Heard about Mr Vining though a Larry Vickers' video and just so interested to listen to the story from the MAN himself. Many many thanks to you both for your time and efforts putting this video together.
Mike Vining is hands down, one of the most kind, humble and inquisitive people I’ve ever met. The patriotism he has for our country was inspiring, and equally, his continued dedication to service members is evident throughout his daily life. Thanks again for listening, the feedback is more helpful than you know. 🇺🇸
Imagine having him as a neighbor and you just think of him as the sweet older guy who gives out Halloween candy and waves at you and then come to find out he could just sneak up on you and send you to the shadow realm if you step on his lawn
Mr. Vining is a national treasure. We need to know everything about men like him for future generations. I hope 1 day soon he will do his autobiography.
I would love to see MV and someone like Chris VanSant or Kyle Morgan sit down and talk with each other. Get their perspectives on how things have changed from the inception of Delta to now.
I might be able to make something like this happen with y’all’s help. This video is taking off like never before right now. I’ve been working 5 years on this podcast and would love to capture the momentum. Anyone know how to get ahold of Chris or Kyle?
I too spent the better part of a year at Redstone Arsenal and Ft McClellan but I was there in 1965, I was already getting my discharge when he joined in 68. I must say thats where the comparison ends, I accomplished nothing worth mentioning compared to SGM Vining.
Should have had CSM Vining in Expendables 2 cameo were Chuck Norris “Booker”asks Barry to check under his bed to see if CSM Vining is there. Would have been hilarious.🤣
This guy doesn’t respond at all to praise. Unlike the guys you got today that get out of SF and get out of the SEAL teams and want to become podcasters, influencers, and clout chasers.
MV needs to write his autobiography before it is too late.
YES! He’s a plank owner and an amazing American hero

A lot of his life is probably still classified
I’ll take 2 copies
Man is the definition of sleeper build.
Tons of memes floating around with his pic and a caption, do you even operate son.
One of the best memes out there! 😅
I never heard about this guy until today.. as now I'm watching this Video.. this guy has balls bigger than The whole Ufc camp

I only found out about him because his picture is so often used on Quora as an example of someone who looks unassuming, but is very, very dangerous.
I honestly can’t imagine the amount of people this man has killed
Most of Delta Force look like they work at Home Depot. You have to be very lean to succeed in that work.

Exactly the t-shirt you would expect Mike Vining to wear
It's interesting that his hearing (even if aided, I can't tell) is pretty much impeccable.

Amazing dude... Nice work getting Mike on and good questions... This man is a legend
Rumor has it Mike once ate a whole cake before his buddies could tell him there was a stripper inside of it. What a guy!
Could you ask Mr. Vining look into the camera and ask us if we "even operate, son?"
Next time I have him on, I’ll see if I can’t get that for us 😅

What was Colonel Beckwith like? I know he trained with the SAS, but how was he as a commander?
OG in the building!!!
would be cool to have him and like a gwot cag on the same podcast and ask him about those generations of cag etc..
Hmmm, maybe I can set that up…stay tuned !

Our media makes movies glamorizing and glorifying Tonya Harding, The Menendez Bros, Ted Bundy and other upstanding figures but not Vining?
