Tensions continue to simmer in Nigeria as citizens continue to mobilise for protests against the government starting August 1. The government says it is ready to field the military to prevent any violence at demonstrations by citizens. The Nigerian military says the protests would head off anarchy and that the armed forces won't allow the nation to spiral out of control. Nigeria's police chief also warned against the protests, blaming self-appointed crusaders and influencers for igniting anger. The government fears that these protests, inspired by those in Kenya, will turn violent. Nigerian President Bola Tinubu said he does not want a Sudan-like situation in Nigeria. The reason why everyone are up in arms about this is because the protest organizers are faceless. This isn’t the first protest happening in Nigeria.
But this is the first faceless one.
It’s something of a national security issue.
It is faceless because there is no one organizing it. Bad government has led to hardship and no one is talking.So everyone that is hungry, tired and fed up want to rise up demand a change. All attempts to address the govt is crushed or bribed away, and you can't change the govt either because they've hijacked the ballot box and you are still talking. What solution are you providing?
The hunger unemployment disillusionment and insecurity is UMPRECEDENTED and the insensitivity silence from the Presidency and Legislators is beyond EVIL 😈
In a country where people are commuting suicide because they have either failed their families can't put food on the table or d adult and teenagers out from d universities still living with their parents or can't find something to do. Yet a budget of 6 Billion was approved for d renovation of Legislators Car park, whilst 1 Billion was approved for similar renovation of d universities hostels.
One would ask how much was originally used to build the Legislators car park?
The richest man in Africa who just completed d building of private refinery in Nigeria has been on d news lamenting that the ones who hold Nigeria captive doesn't want d refinery to work. They Nigeria 😢have refused to supply our own crude to our Nigerian refinery to produce by products for us locally. They want status quo to remain. Nigerians should keep importing fuel plus all d other by products of d raw materials crude Oil God has blessed us Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Nigerians with. In 2024 Nigeria still important all the by products of Crude Oil. They have refused to make our refineries work. Govt after govt. Is this not BEYOND EVIL, WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES BY DEMONS IN FLESH

I weep for the youth, our children. Growing up, I drank Garri with ground nut at will ,anytime, even after meal. Today we watch as our wives ,as Mothers shout at our children for attempting this same enjoyment, because of the high price of Garri. This is Garri without even d groundnut o😢 Grounnut now #2000, in Nigeria (Where are d Groundnut pyramids?😢😭😭😭). We d Older generation have failed these Children. Some older than our generation like this Tinubu and Wole Soyinka supporting this govt, especially their generation, they met free meals in d universities then use to serve Chicken and Ice cream weekends on campus.
