DJI Osmo Pocket 3 walk. Auckland International Airport Terminal. Most of this video was captured after clearing Aviation Security after which, you're technically no longer in New Zealand. With Duty Free shops, restaurants, Nice birds scultures and colourful wire thingys dangling neatly and beautifully from the high ceiling, and large floor to ceiling windows.
Auckland Airport is the largest airport in New Zealand. Its the only airport in New Zealand where you'll see the Boeing 787-9, Boeing 777-300, AirBus A380, and international carriers which you won't see at any other New Zealand airport.
Air New Zealand is the main carrier for all Domestic flights. Operating the two jet classes of planes (AirBus A320 and AirBus A321) between the larger cities and busier destinations such as Wellington, Christchurch and Queenstown. With turbo props operating to the rest of the smaller cities and towns in New Zealand.
My first time flying on an Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 which was full (Kiwis sick of New Zealand and wanting to escape to our friend Australia for the summer holidays), from Auckland to Sydney, for a two week holiday. Air New Zealand use to operate an early morning flight direct from Wellington to Sydney, but now that flight doesn't depart Wellington until after 3:00 pm in the afternoon, scheduled to arrive in Sydney not until 4:45 pm Australian time.
Wanting to try something new, different, and arrive in Australia earlier to make the most of our first day for Australia, we decided to catch the first flight from Wellington (NZ402, AirBus 320 jet plane) departing 6:00 am and arriving at Auckland Airport Domestic Terminal at 7:10 am. This gave us enough time to easily/comfotably transfer to the International Terminal for our 11:05 am Air New Zealand Boeing 787-9 plane Flight NZ105 trip to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, arriving lunch time at 12:40 pm Australia time. Woop woop... Our flight to Sydney was only 10 minutes late, so no major delays, no bad weather in Auckland, and no cancellations. Thanks team :)
