Thank you for this excellent video. Today, I took apart the Driver's side door and inspected the regulator, guide and rollers on my 1973 Toyota Celica. The rollers looked great, but the plastic guides disinegrated into power as I removed the window from the door, which I replaced. I also installed the outer liner squigee for the window that was all cracked and ugly. I couldn't of done it without this video. Thanks again!.
Good stuff! Brought back memories! Did the same thing in 1979. I have a 1972 RA21. Bought it new in high school. Of course, still have it! :o) Almost 48 years later!
Thank you so much. Just started working on my ta22 project and this really helps. Unfortunately the previous owners destroyed some screws so that was an extra challenge lol.
Awesome. Just bought one both the windows have been down for years. My first step toward weather proofing the car. Bread wire ties work great for horse shoe removal as well, did that on my Aveo.
Try searching for a passenger side regulator. They are the same part and will have much less wear and tear. My ra21 is using two passenger side regulators
For whenever you have to do this the next time. Put the tiny clip on the regulator first then just pop it on the spline, no need to put it on like you did. It just snaps on!
My brother totally resto moded a 1974 its now a show winning beauty

Nicely done. Extremely thorough video lol I'll reference it when I rebuild my regulators!

Great video, praying you don't ever have to do the rear quarter glass window 😱

Those old plastics are fidgety and you need to be careful or they crack.... Nice work
Thank you so much! Now if only i could find images of the rear window disassembly, im very afraid to break anything taking it apart
Great vid dude 👍
