Small YouTube Channel Thoughts🤔

Today I set out on a much needed beach walk after being stuck in the house because of the rain. Felt good to get some fresh air while contemplating things. #youtubevideos #carlifestyle

As someone that's been doing YT since 06... I will say it helps to understand a few things if you want to run a channel for the long-term. 1: Don't do YT for anyone, do it because you enjoy sharing whatever content it is your channel provides. 2: Have a goal with your channel, ..in short, what's the point of the channel? What are you trying to share? This is important as it will give your channel some focus. 3: if you want a lot of subscribers, understand that some of that is just luck of what content you put out that catches on.. vs the grind of producing content that people want to watch over and over again..and possibly a mix of both. 4: Make sure your audio and video (shots) are something YOU would want to listen to, or watch. If you watch your edits back, and you think "I don't like the way that sounds, or the way that was filmed, .. people watching and potential subs won't want to watch or listen to it either. Remember where people watch these videos the most.. .sitting on the toilet, laying bed, waiting at the DMV, @ work. If you have loud audio, or audio changes.. it forces people to turn your audio off entirely, and that might not be good if you're giving info. ...There's a bunch more.. but those are some good starting points. In the end,..it's a hobby, somewhat of an art form.. treat it that way. Positive feedback is good yes, but it shouldn't stop you if you don't get it

I think you are correct in doing videos on something you enjoy because at the end of the day, it's about the life I am living and other people that enjoy that type of life will gravitate or not. Hey Pretty Lady. As always nice video. You definitely have a talent for shooting the good content, editing and adding good music to the videos. I am not really well versed enough in "youtubing" to be able to make suggestions on how to grow your channel. What I can tell you is that it is so nice to see you and your adventures ... ALWAYS look forward to it. For me .. I would think this is time consuming for you ... but then again I don't know much about it. The big thing I pray for you is that you do what is best for YOU. We humans already have enough pressures and baggage to tote around ... so if this channel is adding to a frustration or extra time commitment then remove it from your life. I know lots of time it breaks down to financial and time constraints ... but even if there are only a handful or regular watchers etc ... one of them or all of them are benefitting from then. Know you make a difference in a positive way. Don't get too up nor too down. Know you are special and one of a kind. Keep smiling and enjoying things! Take good care of yourself.

Thank you. I sincerely appreciate your support and encouragement. I don't mind the time it takes to make the videos. I enjoy making them, editing them and putting it all together. Just didn't know if there's a desire or need for what I share in my videos or not. Perhaps what I think is good content may not be what my viewers think is good content. You are 1 of the 2 people that have been with me since the beginning of last year when I started this journey and one of the reasons I keep making videos so thank you. Hi. Thank you ridermotorman1320! I appreicate you taking the time to watch my video and comment. Unfortunately I am leaning away from doing Uber these day because my car is getting thrashed with all the wear and tare. Expensive to keep up on tires, oil changes, tune ups, gas etc. I am doing it very part time right now. I drive a Honda Fit. I get 35 -38 mpg on the highway and about 27 mpg in the city.
