Loved the video. Upgrade idea add a decent magnet on the inside to collect the screws and stuff separately from wood shavings at the bottom

    Nice job.
From a 50 year woodworking vet: Make and use push blocks/shoes, rather than those garbage push sticks that ONLY hold down the wood in front of the cut.
Dangerous kickbacks start at the back of the blade, where the push sticks serve little or no purpose. A push shoe holds down the wood over several inches of the project and goes a long ways to cutting down on kick backs, because it does help hold the wood down, rather than allowing it to pivot UP at the point a push stick is holding it.

To add a tip, drop your saw blade so it is just 1 or 2 mm higher than the timber you are cutting. It is sooooo much safer and I find it leaves a cleaner cut as there is less deflection on the blade.
Agree fully with Kelly, I use the "push shoe" from John Heisz ... have a look on his channel.

An unnecessary old vacuum cleaner will still serve in the workshop.

Maybe fix a good strong magnet in the bottom to hold any ferris metal objects vacuumed like screws and nails etc.

What, no video of you realizing the original size of the vacuum's interior volume was smaller than the container you built. Therefore, the result of poor suction performance from the motor...oh wait, it hardly sucked up those screws at the start, nvm

For a workshop, a great option without spending money)
