pretty strange pricing starting at 19k € ??? I know someone who bought a brand new one, didnt change color, kept price almost as low as possible, the base was 14k € last summer. I drove it and in general gas and brakes seem rather sensitive. Driving in a level/nonchanging terrain in 6th gear at 90 allowed km/h (+4) the car was at its just below making noise. Lower gears seem to be pretty strong, but to overtake anyone Id just shift to 4 and push the pedal to the bottom. 5th seems pretty lazy. Its got pretty good acceleration at least compared to what Im used to. At 14k a great deal imo.
Honestly? It's down to personal taste. Mokka probably has the most functional interior, Juke (with the right engine) is probably the most fun to drive, 2008... I can't think of any feature, which would make 2008 stand out. I like the cockpit layout with the small steering wheel, but I'm in the minority :)
God I love car critic's full of brilliant compliments but don't drive them for long time I have a vauxhall mokka t.d.i and it's been a good car with no issues please make a video with a car you like so we can look at the car and find fault with you fantastic up to date view
I wish I could drive every car I review for a couple of months, and then revisit them regularly, but with 50-60 reviews a year, how would see the logistics of that? I'm always keen to hear owners' opinions. It's great you had no mechanical issues. Is the car all you expected, wanted in all other areas as well?
@@MarekDrives sorry if my comment was a bit harsh But I have driven lots of car myself through the years .. I loved the old saab900 turbo But fell in love with my orange mokka 1.7tdi .keep up the good work on your reviews And have a good new year . Paul from hull 🇬🇧
And a great year to you too! Let's hope it's going to be better, than 2020. And if you would like to share anything exceptionally good or particularly annoying about the cars you've owned, I'm here to listen. And so are other viewers looking for buying advice. I'm sorry, but Warsaw doesn't seem to rhyme with my name :)
Is this Mokka also produced in Poland at Gliwice factory, where the new Astra and Corsa are produced? I think that it makes Opel to a very famous car brand in Poland.
Nope. Mokka for Europe is made in Spain. I think Fiat is top of mind, when it comes to production in Poland. But that's for historical reasons. Fiats were made in Poland since 1960s.
How is this car so much pricier than a MINI Countryman? I own a Chevy Trax (Mokka's modest American sibling), which is A LOT way cheaper than the cheapest MINI in the market.
Chevy was always a lot cheaper than Opel in Europe. And for the price it sold well. Too well in fact, which is why GM decided to stick to Opel in Europe, and Chevrolet elsewhere. And then they just sold Opel to PSA, so it's someone else's problem now :)
So weird that the rear seats protrude from the bottom. Let's be honest, this is a make shift product. A car raised with no engineering spent on the actual product.
Brilliant car after trying the so called rivals nothing touched it for comfort in Elite mode, bought
One and have joined the many satisfied owners.
This car looks so good… seriously!
The new front LED … just make it look…
Awesomeness
I got a 2019 1.4 turbo love it .

Best in class
Thanks for the review Marek. How does this new model compare with others in the same sector e.g. Juke, 2008 and Captur?

Marek Drives Thanks I always appreciate a second opinion☺

Hieno auto on opel mokka x 1.6cdti diesel ja hyvä auto opel mokka x vuosimalli on 2020 uusi auto on opel mokka x on kuvassa.

Marek Drives I think that Opel should transfer the Zafira production to Poland from Germany. The Insignia should also be produced in Poland.
The front center armrest is a joke.
Looks like its taken out of an old car from the 90s xD
Or stolen from an airplane seat (but covered with leather)
Yeah, I wonder what the engineers were thinking. How can they make such mistakes?
Even over 6-feet tall I sit close to the steering wheel. This puts my wife on the back of the arm rest and me on the front. It works for us!
What’s the auto transmission like?
Meh.

last year summer a relative bought pretty much base, didnt buy almost anything extra. He bought it for 14k €.
I bought a Mokka x now I wish I bought The Countryman
The mini is below average…
Njoy your Opel. You made the right choice.
@@booz394 your right l drove a country man , hard ride no boot space , Mokka ... better comfort and ride height , thanks 😊
Lost in translation

Rear seats don't protrude through the floor. It's undefined something protruding UNDER the rear seats :)
Best sales in the segment!
No faking opel 👎
After all, it's a Corsa with a jacked up suspension and a jacked up price.
I don't think it is based on Corsa, which in turn is based on Fiat Punto. It's more related to Cruise, Aveo from GM.
It’s a Buick
relative bought it for 14k last year, X model.
It looks boring af
looks like a cheaped out ford kuga which wasn't luxury to begin with lol
How the hell can you get this to look simular to an Kuga? The Kuga is the second most beutiful car in its class if you buy the ST-line.
Nothing to do with Kuga, and is much smaller... basically only common thing is that it's a a car as well.
Expensive and crap. Sorry Opel.
Ugly, bad to drive, bad reliability(it's GM after all), over priced... Who wouldn't want one?
Someone who finds it pretty, don't look for a sports car and actually don't think it's overpriced.
best design, best reliability, best price
